TV anchor tricked into announcing her own marriage proposal. CNN's Jeanne Moos lifts the veil on this teleprompter tale. For more CNN videos, visit our site at www.cnn.com/video/
He really didn't need to ask the question. When she realized what was going on, she already had her hand out, ring finger exposed as if to say, put it on please. It's nice to see good things tv, rather than all sad news. CONGRATS YALL. Illinois
The problem is the amount of time between her realizing and his question. If he has to walk all the way from behind the camera, a smart girl realizes immediately and then has a few seconds to "WAIT", whereas a real surprise means a guy is suddenly on his knee....like during a flash mob...
+TheMinnieme2011 People actually like watching proposals, at least I think they are great when done well with lots of creativity. This man obviously put a lot of effort and planning into this. I think it was a wonderful proposal.
since last 7 years, she has been married three times, he twice and both have 10 children from five marriages combine and move on to their separate ways, One happy American couple.
Nice try.... I AM married. But I didnt need to propose in front of others as if it s their business... It was a special moment for US and US only. Try again pumpkin.
I agree. Unless they had talked about beforehand it puts too much pressure on the woman. She feels guilty to say no, but kudos to those who have the guts to say no if that is their true feelings.
Youknow..I'm just wondering, I went to some proposal-video's, and all of them have angry guys on there, stating confidently that '5 years from now, he will be living at his mom and she'll have all his cash.' I was just wondering if this was a movie qoute. (It's só similair everywhere) And if not...do you think they are divorced bitter people...or very sad and scared lonely people? Or both? (If you have another thought or idea, tell me please.)
Whoever threw the message out at 1:55 is a real killjoy. I mean I get it, everyone has an opinion, and in my case, an opinion to an opinion. They are happy, it was a nice thing to see. Either the person couldn't find happiness in his own life or just wanted to get back to news about the President's new puppy or the wars overseas.
inappropriate.... should an air traffic controller stop in the middle of work to propose? Should a surgeon propose in the middle of his work? Should a judge interrupt the court to propose? Oh.. this is just a silly news broadcast that is not that important? Is that the reasoning? Ok...
Dont worry we all die. it is the one thing all of us have in common. and marriage is overrated, there has been research done that shows the BDSM (aka bondage) community are one of the happiest people on the planet
Did we really need the CNN person telling us what we were watching? Would have been nice if she had just kept her mouth shut and let us enjoy the moment.
