Rajdeep Sardesai Decodes What Does U.K Verdict Mean For The World?
The Labour Party had estranged ties with India and British Indians thanks to a Kashmir motion under former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. In fact, ties soured as Queen Elizabeth II visited India in 1997, during India's 50th Independence anniversary. Will a new Labour under Keir Starmer lessen the pain?

Two factors - widespread news reports and views on social media along with a rise in overall literacy in India have given rise to a more aware populace. The average Indian is more aware now and now and can make herself heard.

UK verdict means their citizens wants the wealth / monies / resources to be distributed equally among all sections.....NOT...in the hands of few .....& they have woken up to the fact....NO citizen will be happy when their share of the resources are taken away by a few LOT.....under any pretext or excuses....equitable distribution of wealth by Direct transfers to the banks of the poorest....is the only way...to be in power...

Would love to know on what basis they claim the country doesn't want coalitions. Clearly the majority of the party doesn't want one party over another, which necessitates non-majority representation in any democratic system. And if you actually look at polling, a PR system is preferred much more than FPTP. Or how about we actually put it to referendum? Personally, if prefer STV or MMP. They're both voting systems already in use in UK elections and if they're good enough for devolved matters theyll be good enough for the national picture. And sure, reform would get more seats. So would the greens lib dems wouldnt be on a coin flip between being in the teens vs around 60. Labour would actually have to decide to stand for something. Parties would need unique identities or suffer not getting votes when people don't want a diet version of a real party with actual beliefs.
