@@navaneeth1087 Get your facts correct before jumping in to conclusions and calling a point that someone makes bullshit. ADAC provides the testing facility for both EuroNCAP which is backed by EU countries and there test protocols are entirely different. On the other hand GNCAP is a fluke organization which is literally a cheap copy of Euro NCAP with completely different set of protocols .They struggle to generate revenue to keep the company running since a long time. Tried there best to get backed by South American governments for a very long time but failed miserably. Came to India backed up by Tata and M&M made a fool out of people like you and made themselves good enough money. If you are still not convinced then just go and compare two test reports from Euro NCAP and Global NCAP. You can see how unprofessional and clueless there reports are with absolute zero integrity. It’s business man. No private organization can run without money. They thought Indian government will back them like EU did for Euro NCAP, but all there plans went for a toss when Nitin Gadkari announced about Bharat NCAP.

@@PeakyBlinder92 Latin NCAP is older than Global NCAP.The initial Global NCAP norms where exactly same as Latin NCAP only.I really dont think they had any Indian dreams which is not at all possible.India is trying to become a self sufficient and because of our population & demand would never depend on an UK based organization for car assessment.We already had all the technical expertise within but never had the facility to do routine test.Along with that NCAP once implemented is an obligation, all car must earn 5 star rating.

Global NCAP confirmed in an interview that they are budget-constrained and would update their assessment protocols when it was possible. Partnered with Tata who were struggling to get grip on Indian market, got enough funds,upgraded their protocols, will continue to milk Indian manufacturers until Bharat NCAP gets introduced. These scam will end up killing the dreams of a common Indian guy to buy a car. Have you ever imagined paying 14.5 lakhs on road for a Hyundai i20? In India only thing that can help people survive from accidents are strict law and order enforcement when it comes to traffic violations. Japan is as dense as India as a country. There roads are full of small cars from Suzuki, Honda and Daihatsu. Still rate of accident is 1/4th than that of India. Because people value other people’s life more than theirs. Indians should mentally achieve that kind of maturity when they drive. Till then there is no point in crying for safer cars. No car is safe on Indian roads. It’s a mess out there.
