Another vote for you to not have to finish RoP, Alex. Do something better with your life. I’m a HUGE LOTR fan and I regret finishing it. Fallout on the other hand was phenomenal.
Rings of Power was such an incredible disappointment-we weren't able to get through even the first season, let alone finish whatever they eventually produce. It was beautiful, and the music was great-even the acting was generally good! But the writing was just abysmal.
It's possible Marvel Champions is in the Hotness simply because of the success of the X-Men '97 cartoon. I know for me personally it has me wanting to dive into more X-Men stuff.
As someone else has already said, Marvel champions just released Age of Apocalypse which is the start of the next wave (and the last X-Men wave). They've also released articles for Ice-Man and Jubilee hero packs. There's still speculation on what the other two heroes will be (one is definitely Nightcrawler).
Wolf/Deer strategy turned Forest Shuffle off for us. We play mainly 2 player, where that strategy is at it's worst. Way too easy to blind draft into a few wolves and just go heavy on deer and win BY A LOT. Broke the experience, and I'm not a fan of house ruling games and keeping wolves out if there were in the original design.
