This movie is an unerrated gem. I wish it would get remastered for a Blu Ray or at least a DVD release

Newsboys reminds me of such a joyous time in my life. So much so i started bawling at the end of this.

My siblings and I grew up with this movie on vhs. 15 years later the band signed it! This movie is such a big part of my childhood! :)

This a Broadway musical, but with the music that i actually listen to! God, if only Christianity could be this cool again

I bought this when it came out, loaned it to a friend ....and well let’s just say this was this first time to watch it in over 15yrs and I still loved it.

Facts: Mainstream Christian Music was so much cooler back in the 90’s!

I still love this movie! When it was first released i gave copies of it to all my coworkers for Christmas. Even though i don't know what they thought about it or even if they liked it, God placed it on my heart to share it and a few other Christian videos i obtained as gifts for Christmas.

Seen them in concert since Going Public on every tour. Meet and hung out with them in the 90’s and they were so awesome to hang out with. Bought this when it came out.

During a Q&A they had before a United show at Summerville, SC, I asked the band about possibly making another movie in the style of this but with today's lineup. They all stared at me for like 5 seconds before Duncan simply replied with "No." The crowd was dying. XD

Too funny! I had no idea this existed. I guess I wasn’t as big a Newsboys fan as I thought. Been going to their concerts and buying their albums since 1995.

Wow I remember watching this like years ago when I was really little, now I get to show it to my girlfriend who really likes the newsboys

Saw this when I was 13 years old. A local Christian bookstore was handing out free copies when you purchased the new Take Me To Your Leader CD album and a shirt. Saw it once, thought it was amusing. Went back to trading Star Wars customizable cards with friends while having newsboys cranked in the background. I like their music, their acting not so much. Ha ha!

Saw this during Sunday night youth group as a kid and never forgot it. Found me a copy on VHS in 2011, but of course, who can play THAT anymore!? Perfectly happy seeing it here. Thank you for posting!

I grew up in Nashville and someone was selling a ton of these at a yard sale, so my mom bought one along with a Steve Taylor music video VHS, and we watched them all the time growing up. My best friends mom dated Jody Davis before Newsboys, so it was even more amusing to me. I still quote things from this film.

Good on ya, mate! I absolutely love that this movie is still out there and free for all. I just wish this got the acclaim it deserves. One of the funniest movies, Christian or otherwise, to ever be made.

Best youth group movie ever.

I bought the VHS when it first came out. My kids wore it out long ago. They were practically raised on this and KISS meets the Phantom of the Park!

Read about this a while back and was always curious. Glad I found it on RU-vid! If you like the Newsboys, cheesy comedy (think Pee Wee's Big Adventure), and have an hour to kill, you'll enjoy this!

I won this VHS from youth group as a kid and the youth leader would have no clue how life changing it would be. 😁 I'm here commenting because I was watching My Strange Addiction on Hulu season 5 episode 3. It's totally the twins from the movie!!! I'm not crazy, right???
