Y'all forget this is a business an they have to make money The Updates are going to slow down your machine all companies do it Apple Google etc. If they slow your product down enough that they make you buy the newer faster machine they are building while they drop update after update it's a set marketing plan for most if not all tech companies..... I believe your logic is flawed. Why would any company risk losing existing and potential new customers by sabotaging its own product? Also, it would be unlawful if what you suggested were true. Shited you are right the new mpc’s you buy from them don’t have them updates you are so right they want us to buy them because they know there no bugs on them 💯
My software is no longer behaving the same. Can't access files in controller mode or on the software alone. I'm able to see them in standalone though. And can't record into software.
It is crazy to say not to update your firmware because it may mess up things you won't know what it will or will not do until you install it so how do you know if it's going to mess up whatever you have going on with your previous firmware
The advice we give is take time to read the release documentation, they specifically talk about the issues resolved, or features added. If your current firmware is working ok and the new one is a bug fix that doesn’t affect you it’s safe to not upgrade, but if it comes with add-on and new features you might consider updating.
This update just slowed my machine right down it takes 10 minutes to boot, Akai need to sort this out asap, alot of mpc's are getting bricked and left unusable after updates, this product is way too expensive to be having these types of issues.
