Mother Dolores is a caring wonderful woman, so generous with her time, we have been friends for over 5 plus years. Even received her Book as a gift and the CD of the nuns singing. Both are fabulous.Feel so blessed to know her. Miroslava rozman novakovic.
@@rayskitten78 It is very unfortunate that the press were allowed to print whatever they wanted to about Elvis. He was a devout servant of God which is probably one of the reasons why the world wanted to discredit him so badly.
Just watched Where The Boys Are on TCM 2 weeks ago. This woman is quite extraordinary. Sr. Dolores Hart congrats on a life well lived and thank you for that early part of your first calling in the movies.

Her and Elvis did not have a romantic relationship. They were good friends. There are some pictures of her and Elvis when they did the movie "Loving You'. Beautiful and touching photos. Look them up.
Does anyone know anything about what looks kind of like a French beret that she sometimes wears over her head? I'm sure it has some special significance.
@@ladybearbaiter Sister Dolores reported that the top of her head was cold. The Prioress suggested wearing the beret. It has also been told since then especially with the newer novices that some have adopted it too. It does not have a religious significance.
Hope I will be a " nun " in the future. There are congregations that accepts females even if they have children. Will just leave the children behind and serve the LORD. Actually , am already thinking about it , if only I dont have bills to pay for , just worry about my kids , their future , that is why , am still not in the convent or monastery , but hopefully soon.-💓🙏.
@@frederickanderson1860 We all have many gifts just like the body has many parts. Not everyone is called to this life but we need prayer. Without prayer, how can we know and do and preach? All that strength comes from God and not from ourselves.
@@dansedevie123 our own personal experiences can't fathom the existence of God. Not all receive same experiences of healings or miracles. People testimonies are subjective in their thinking, what happens to me can happen too others, does not work at all.

You don't leave Hollywood become a nun unless you fall in love with Jesus. Such a radical life takes a lot of faith, if there is no God, it is all for nothing.
i am not religious and i don't like friends that talk about religion and i kind of have an issue with these preachers and priests and i have a HUGE problem with these TV money sucker preachers and i know nothing about that fantasy book the bible but i have this extreme soft spot for nuns and i had 5 Aunts that were nuns and they were all sisters and oddly i could see myself as a nun and Mother Dolores seems so sweet and long before i found out she became a nun i could see there was something special about her in her movies
