We headed down to Newton Lake in Southern Illinois with my Homie Antiono (Fishingthe419) to rid ourselves of Cabin Fever and put together some awesome Bass Fishing. Fished for two days and figured them out towards the end of the day on day two.

I know this lake my father in laws farm is not far from that lake I got a four and a half out of it and graduated from Newton high now I live in Mooresville lndiana Milton

I really liked this informative style of video with the recalls to the details. I fished with Antonio once at the golf course in BG and he's an awesome dude. Hated to see him lose that fish! I might try Metzgers next weekend since I heard thats already in the 40s. Good luck and tight lines!

Man I have caught many 7 pound fish in the lake. The bigs are for sure in there. Bad thing is that plant is going to be decommissioned in the next several years I was told.

Mike Foster Outdoors yeah had I figured out this pattern earlier I feel we would’ve put a big or two in the boat. Just not enough time when I finally put the puzzle together. I also heard the same thing which is why I wanted to get down there

Ive always heard that power plants are great fisheries because most of them have cooling systems that utilize the water they sit on and theres input and output tubes and the out tubes that export the water out that was used to cool are pushing warm water out and the fish like that. Never got to test that theory because the closest one to me you cant even get near it because of security on shore. Anyways.... lol thanks for sharing pretty informative!

BullFrog Outdoors this lake was made for the power plant and you’re on point. The fish never go into a non growth period.
