I'm still relatively new to the model kit scene. For the most part I've just been buying simple gundam kits and putting them together, but after getting REALLY into Armored Core over the last month or so I've been buying as many kits from the games as I can. And now after seeing this video it makes me really want to learn how to paint like this
homie pronounces something wrong or gets the name of something wrong in every. single. video. I'm starting to think it's intentional. He even pronounces otaku wrong lol. His builds are top grade though
Beautiful… and yeah, I’m also hoping that because of the popularity of AC6, we’ll be getting AC MODEL KITS in the future. But, I’m contempt with what I’m doing. I’m building a custom AC using 30 Minute Mission kits. It’s working surprisingly well!
heh heh heh, big fan of AC but this was my first model kit. manged build it over a few days. I do have some experience with warhammer so I guess that helped.
got mine for 70 euros on wallapop, i feel blessed, it was an insta buy. 4 was my first ac game and the opening blew me away, so i realy wanna do my best to make a diorama out of it, i hope i can make it look good with brush layering cuz i can't get my airbrush to work c_c hopefully i'll make a stunning paint job so i can archieve mini painting like contrast as the lighting in the opening made everything desaturated towards a boneish color highlights, wish me luck!
Yes the kits now are super expensive because of rarity. I was lucky bought my 1st one at $90 bucks when it came out. Its now worth over $300. But did score and found one still at original price, Just today. Its worth on the market is yes well over $300 dollars. I got it for $95. 😂😂😂 large companies dont know the current values for them. What a score. 😂😂 Thks. Now I'm finally gonna build them both. Waited long enough. Noblesse Oblige and Alicia Unsung. Both are way cool with big gun racks on their backs. Now to find or get a white glint with the jet pack, that's very hard to find.
My dude, amazing!! The weathering is fantastic. I’ve always loved AC as a kid but never gotten one of the kits. I’m thriving to improve my building skills. You’ve inspired me to be on the look out for re-release for this kit. Knocked the pants off this build.
Not to be nitpicky but the description is wrong: its "Aaliyah Supplice" like in the title, not "White Glint" as it stands in the description. But other than that, hats off, nice build!
I am hoping that with Armored core 6’s marketing and from softwares recent popularity that we do get new model kits but I do feel that Bandai themselves should be the ones to make the kits. I’ve never gotten along with kotobukiyas kits they just feel low quality when I compare them to gunpla but I feel this with most model kits. Recently built two of the patlabour kits from good smile and couldn’t help but compare the quality to gunpla, they look fine but the build just wasn’t fun
I like my Ray Leonard 04-Alicia UNSUNG. Way cooler gun back pack. And cooler paint scheme. Black n Red. But his is cool because he added lights and he paints pretty good.
M8 the name is aaliyah supplice, rayleonard is the in lore company that built it. But great build man! Try some muvluv kits as well, the have a lot clear parts for leds(would recommended avoiding the f22 raptor and ef2000 typhoon - the dont hav clear parts for the eyes)
Managed to pick up the very last one of these in stock on HLJ for $60 a while back. Day later i see them going for $300+. Have yet to build it but i will def be using the mesh technique you used you the cameras
So nice work! I always impressed with all your custom work on any kits. I build too many Gundam's but This kit is my first AC kit I'm building. Yes have to glue some parts to keep it together on some area but this kit is a beast! Love it! 👍
You do these kits a lot more justice than I ever could lol. Ever checked out any five star stories kits? I swear someday I'm gunna get someone else into that series if for no other reason than so I have someone to talk to abut it. Fr tho I'm playing through ac6 as a relative newcomer to the series so seeing these kits get real glow ups is nice. Makes me a bit more motivated to build my own kits lol
Did you thin the metallic gold paint before putting it in the airbrush or no? learning to do this myself and I wanna get some questions answered before I hop right on into it
