So looks like the legendries this year will have 4 awakened abilities. I expect this to be a mixed team with Brian Braddock. I am hoping the reworks are for Jubilee and Dazzler.

Brian makes sense, he's on Excalibur and the illuminati, which means he can get put on professor X's team just like apoc and the horsemen

Kity, sunspot, nightcrawler, x23 and of logan have been getting lots of defense wins for me between diamond 3 and masters in fhe exposed room for the past couple seasons since thise x men reworks

Im a fan of the original Excalibur serie. Id love for Meggan and Rachel Summers to be added to the game. I doubt it for Meggan as she is more obscure but she would definitely be an interesting and fun character. Fingers crossed for both of them!

So supposing it is an Excalibur team, we have two options - new CC team, which mean we can't really predict who will be in there as CC don't care about origins (excalibur is kinda wide, even more if you count both excalibur related mutants and UK related heroes being possible), but there is some known names, like Dazzler, rogue or jubilee that stand out - Mystic Raid team (unlikely, but not impossible), which would already limite options a bit more, Juggernaut is mystic and was part of the team comic wise, Elsa Bloodstone is from UK, Morgan Le Fay have obvious Ties to Captain Britain lore. There is also BK but likely too soon to move him to a new team.

Lot of potential here for sure in terms Of characters. The theme will be dictated by who Captain Britain is I think , Brian or Betsy.

Brian had a girlfriend named Meggan who was on the team though I don't remember her powers. Rachel Summers aka Phoenix was on the team. Also Brian and Betsy have a brother who is a reality warper and a bad guy so it would be interesting to introduce him as well. There was another member named Ky'lun I believe who was also a mystic character.

Brian was the original Captain Britain but he's Captain Avalon now. Betsy is the current Captain Britain (she was the original Psylocke) and leader of Excalibur, she's already on Marvel Contest of Champions and Marvel Future Fight as Captain Britain! (And the body mentioned in the video is Kwannon's)

Current story path is focused around Xavier, so consider the relationships between new characters Black Panther Shuri + Cap Britain and Xavier, the new team could be some form of The Illuminati.

Would love to see Rachel Summers and Meggan. Meggan could shapeshift into other characters (like Sinister's clone) but that might be both too OP or weak.

Rictor and Shatterstar are a couple in the comics. They would be a perfect fit and is comics accurate for a Betsy team.

To make a Mystic team, I suppose they can double tag Betsy Mutant/Mystic. Brian and Meggan. Wasn't Juggernaut in Excalibur? Black Knight would make 5, but just like Kurt, I don't see them yanking him from Out of Time so soon.

Gonna throw out a curveball speculation: not the next legendary, but rather awakened abilities for our current Psylocke to turn her into her Captain Britain version. This would be a way of making the Horsemen teams more relevant by supercharging one of the weaker members to get them back into the meta. If it is a new character though, I personally would prefer the Betsy version, and I'd hope to see her come alongside a Kitty Pryde rework and Rachel Summers, who goes by Prestige now iirc (that's the Phoenix referred to in that "former members" list, not Jean).

If Brian, I'm thinking it's him, Megan, Rachel Summers, with a rework between Colossus, Kitty Pryde and Jubilee. If it's Betsy, rework of Jubilee and Rogue, adding in Rictor and a 5th that I can't recall... maybe Shogo (Jubilee's adopted son)?

Excalibur’s ranks grow to include Cerise, Piotr Rasputin, AKA Colossus; Amanda Sefton, AKA Day Tripper (though her real name is Jimaine Szardos, AKA Magik); Warlock, AKA Douglock (later just Warlock); Feron, Colin McKay, AKA Kylun; Lockheed; Dr. Moira MacTaggert, Scott Wright, AKA Micromax; Katherine Anne Pryde-Rasputin, AKA Widget; Peter Wisdom, and Rahne Sinclair, AKA Wolfsbane.
