Hey guys and welcome to todays video where we are talking about some of the hidden gems when it comes to anti aging ingredients.. Let me know what you think in the comments below.. love you all x
When Rob uploads we all leave everything and watch the pure goodness coming from pure heart ❤. Rob is an example of my ancestoral Indian teaching - " The man(or woman) pure of heart has a radiance on the face"
Oh yes to more brand reviews and to a part two of this one. Very interested in seeing Stratia covered. I'd also like to see your take on ELF skincare. Sending good vibes.
OMG Scott you must be a mind reader as I have just got a load of elf skincare lol so that would make for perfect timing for a review :).. Happy Saturday hun x
Hey Rob, the stidies are correct, hyperpigmentation is the most concerning to those of us who have reached a certain 'age'. Thanks for anwsering my question in the last live stream. I was about to order the Facetheory Exaglow Serum when I thought to research your videos further; I came across one from November 2023. There you recommended Facetheory's Exaglow Serum and Facetheory's Lumizela Acelaic Acid working well together for '[dark/age' spots. I've ordered both through your 'links'. The products should be arriving within the next few days. I will keep you posted on how well this works for me. Sending much love and happiness in your direction ~ Paula I'm so happy for all your successes, you are such a hard worker ❣
Happy Saturday Paula... Thank to so so much for your kindness and I love that combo so I really hope they work well for you.. my top tip would be to start using the azelaic for a week first then introduce the exaglow as I that way it will minimise any irritation :) sending you so so much love xxxxxx
Currently using APLB Korean skincare line with collagen and EGF essence mist. Nobody talks about this line and I wonder why. I am also waiting for my Missha ginseng products. Would love to see you do these brands as I've heard great things about ginseng as well.
I think no one talks about them because they are reasonably priced and they aren’t flashy 😅 they’re great products in that they’re simple but effective, but that’s also why they fly under the radar-they’re simple 🤷🏽♀️ no nonsense, carefully chosen, research-backed ingredients, and they purposefully leave out the irritants and frills that might otherwise gain attention. I have their glutathione + niacinamide mist essence 😊
Hurray to the Korean skincare. Skin1004 is my latest discovery. The Pore Minimizing Sérum has several peptides and a copper peptide for about 20 euros.
I had never heard of APLB until last week when I spotted their body lotion. The words Glutathione and Niacinamide on the box caught my attention immediately as did the price point, $6.99 @ TJ Maxx. So I bought all 4 bottles. Just finishing my Naturium Bio-Lipid b. lotion so I should be starting on the APLB lotion next. If I like it I may look into more of their line.
Please a second video! And also would you please explain how to layer this products in your skincare routine? Thank you for all the information that you share!
Its a pleasure hun and thank you for your support.. I would love to pull together a routine using these so I will get on and film it for the coming weeks.. love x
Haha jan you look amazing so no need for anything but I do find of all the ingredients I have tried only massage and DMAE have really helped a lot with firmness.. sending you lots of love x
My current serum with glutathione is Paula's Choice 25% vitamin C with THD vitamin C. I don't do well with ascorbic acid. I use it twice a day and have no reaction and use it at night with .07% tretinoin.
I love the PC one.. I do wish it was a little cheaper lol but I think its the only on I can think of which does high strength derivative with glutathione.. love x
Rob... Plz feel it when i say it, I love you and your work. You totally are one of my fav RU-vidr when it comes to skincare. Yes it very important to tell people that dont buy everything that is mentioned. Sometines things are informational and can be acted upon later. Your suggestion for that ordinary phytoceramide moisturiser was such a huge help for my already agitated skin. Love that one. Plz plz plz do reviews on popular korean skincare that are truly worth.
I’d love to see more about Mary & May. I have a few of their products and love them. Maybe a review of Dr. Barbara Sturm? (That would be the shortest vid ever! 😂) Thanks for another great vid Rob! 💜💜💜
Haha Amy, its thanks to you that I tried the brand in the first place and I love them.. the eye cream is amazing and I love their blueberry mask so I would gladly test more things for them for a review lol.. Happy Sunday hun and sending you so much love x
I've been using DMAE for yrs. now, I do take a bit of time off time to time. I'm going to try the rewind serum. I've used Derma E products, but not my favorite. I know you tried their products what did you think of their serum and moisturizer?
@@MadAboutSkin That's why I ask I love the DMAE as an ingredient been using off and on for 2 plus yrs. But I find it hard to find things with DMAE in them so I'm happy you mentioned the Stratia serum. I will definitely try it...
Yes please, Numbuzin besides no.5+ serum. Also, Missha: is it still on par? Or is it dismissed bc it's geared for more mature women in Korea (ajumas)? Sending love ❤❤❤
I’m currently loving the Missha Enriched Essence (it’s THICC but so hydrating), used the original 5x “SK-II dupe” back in 2017-2018. Also really enjoy their Artemisia mist essence and ampoule (much more than the I’m From mugwort essence). So I recently learned the reason there is this “mom’s skincare” idea in Korea is because of VERY distinct marketing differences between teens, young adults, and 40+ in terms of what brands to use. That’s why it seemed like k-beauty didn’t use retinoids until recently, when in actually it was the Korean brand Iope that was the FIRST to stabilize and sell cosmetic retinoids globally back in the late 60s! But retinoids are not marketed to those under 40 in Korea (unlike the west), and those over 40 don’t typically use platforms like RU-vid, instagram, or TikTok in Korea. So the brands we westerners see from influencers are the brands for those under 40, which are typically geared towards acne, oily skin, and those with smaller budgets for their skincare. Whereas premium or luxury brands (like Missha and Iope up to Sulwhasoo and House of Whoo) are geared towards maturing skin that needs help retaining moisture, with a focus on well-aging! And being older, typically married or established in their careers, these older women have more to spend on fewer, higher quality products, usually recommended by friends or community blogs. 😊
@@Storm411z great explanation, makes total sense. And I also just discovered Enriched essence, which also gave me brightening effect i think. Thank you!
The Allies vitamin c serum is just too heavy for me… it never absorbs completely. I really wanted love it because I love so many of their other products. I love the numbuzin for my skin!
Amazing!! I want to get the Numbizin no5 serum, would you recommend still to use a vitaminc (timeless skincare 20%) along side OR no need to do both ???? Ive not heard of glutathione before.. thanks Rob.
hi please review niche beauty copper peptides. also do you layer your VT reedle with allies of skin multipeptide? because I do 🤣 i emailed allies of skin, and they said that its ok to layer THD VIT C with multipeptide and tretinoin
Haha I love the idea of that layering I will have to try that... I have a lot of products from niche which I need to try so there will be a review coming xx
also rob, may i ask can i use that allies of skin multipeptide with drtmtlgy peptide cream? or is that too much peptide? I also bought drmtlgy peptide cream and neck cream on their drmtlgy sale 🤣
Rob, do you buy Allies of Skin of their website? Or is there a trusted stockist in the UK? Last time I ordered on their website the retinol and day time treatment came with just 9 months to expiration date so I am a bit worried their stock in the UK is a bit dated 😒
Hi hun, yes I got mine from their website but I will be honest I didnt check the exp date.. I find their customer service to be great though so I am sure if you reach out to them they would be able to tell you the expiry on their current batch of a product xx
Hi Rob, great video, as usual. I'm waiting for part 2 😊And I'd like some review on NicheBeautyLab-Theramid products. Thanks for your interesting contents, I like this channel a lot! 😍
Hey, Rob! Great informative video as always. I would like to hear your thoughts on the Jin Jung Sung line of products. I have personally used their soothing moisture essence and their eye/face cream and they are quickly becoming holy grails for me. These 2 are relatively affordable but I can't remember the price point of the other products in the line. And a definite yes to a part 2...👍👍
Can you please explain the differences/similarities of different types of skin products. For example, I have many products that I think I am duping but not sure 🤔. I have Urea toner and Ginseng Toner and Green Tea toner, are these the same therefore I only need one? I have Good Molecules Glycolic Exfoliating Toner. I have Drmtlgy Needless serum and Copper Peptide serum and Vitamin C L-Ascorbic and Matixyl 3000 and Niacinamide, I have Isntree Bifida Ampoule serum, Benton Fermentation Essence, do I need all of these?? Do you need DNA Repair lotion along with Revive Growth Factors? Help! I think there are so many of us duping and wasting our hard earned coin 😢 Thank you!!
Thinking the exact thing lately. I have a Beauty spreadsheet that I started back in 2014. Even with that I just discovered that I have 3 different peptide serums along with other duplications.. I'm retired so $ is particularly important now. I'm trying not to buy b4 using things up but I, like a lot of us, get "influenced" to buy when seeing something new, particularly if it's at a great price point.
I would love a full review of Revolution Beauty…you already have some of their products and love them…but they have some equally lovely ones I don’t think you have tried yet. Such as the Mega mushroom serum (really plumps my under eye wrinkles and so they are less noticeable) and their Night repair oil which is a great cruelty free dupe for the Kiehls midnight oil.
@@MadAboutSkin exciting! Thank you! I like Revolutions salicylic mud mask as well. I have oily rosacea prone skin and the mushroom serum takes down the redness a treat…finding it plumped my under eyes was a delightful bonus.
Is the COSRX 6 peptide skin booster similar to the stratia interface? The growth factors is so expensive and stratia does not appear to be available in Australia!
Ηey Rob dear. When are you going to do a video about your peptide serum? I preordered it but have so many questions about layering it and also about the concentrations of other peptides in it. Please let us know.
Hi hun :) thank you so much for your order and the video will be coming next week and I will be doing a live to go alongside it too so people can ask any questions they want.. love x
Yes please, both to a Part 2 and to brand reviews. I'm curious about Simple (guess it's not vegan?), Inkey list, own-brand Boots and Superdrug products (they have about 50 lines each! Recently tried a sample of a B.skincare moisturiser and loved it!), and I second Elf!
I think some s places will ship them to the EU but its not as easy as with the UK or US.... Let m know what you think if you do get to try them.. love x
That Stratia Rewind really intrigues me! I've been using NIOD NEC for years and of course I can't say for sure what, if anything, it's doing because of course I can't compare to if I hadn't been using it. I'll pay to stave off the family jowls. However, it sounds possible that the Stratia Rewind might do something similar, any maybe better? Even with the shipping to Canada that's way less expensive than the Niod product....🤔
