Hi Dan. I learned how to make them myself like u did, thru trial an error over time an slowly building up my tool collection for wood rings and more and now two years later I'm silver and gold smithing my own rings which I sell on Insta and other social media site..i don't think I could have afforded a course like this bcoz the tool lists never stop, few years later an I'm still not even half way thru all the other thousands of little tools n bits n pieces u need but I'm sure there will be alot waitin to sign up an put us all out of business soon, thanks Dan lol just kidding.. Always loved your channel, and your work so I wish u every success in the world with your new venture. Hope this don't mean the end of zebrano wood craft on RU-vid tho.! Best wishes Dan
Cheers man! My goal is to release a few more courses over the next two years all geared at designer makers. If I can replace my income from making rings with making courses then that will actually mean more content on RU-vid haha. It’s been an awesome week here on my first launch so I hope my plan works - I just want to make kick ass content for a living!!!
Ahhhh ...im deffo going to sign up dan but its gonna have to wait...half way through building a new workshop (woodturning studio)... its drinking funds but gonna be worth it... as soon as funds allow ill deffo be signing up
Do you ever do any solid wood rings? Like not bent wood ? That's how I've been making them but idk what the pros and cons are to making the bent ring vs solid one. I want to take the course . Hopefully I can get started with it soon.
Hey thank you! I do use solid wood sometimes but normally combined with a metal ring core as I’ve found them too weak. The bent wood method is considerably stronger and when combined with a durable finish the rings can last for many years. Feel free to reach out to me if you need any help 👊🏽
The course is priced at $320 for lifetime access (around £235). You get access to all of it right away so you binge watch the whole thing or take it at your own pace.
