This is honestly the best tactical light money can buy that I have come across. Pick one up here: www.nextorch.c... Use code: MICHAELRAYDAN for 10% off
Brilliant review! Love who enthusiastic you are 😂 who knew flashlight reviews could be funny 😉 I’m now trying to get one here in England, gonna have to buy directly nextorch it seems. One of my favourite features of any flashlight is the dual switches on the Klarus XT1A so it’s awesome to see something similar on this. The modes are sweeet, non proprietary batteries, no horrible charging flap, doesn’t look cheap and nasty, glass breakers are a great feature. Cheers buddy! Subscribed 👍🏻
Hey buddy, I really like the look of that Nextorch, especially because it's got the tactical ring & stories. I can't afford to buy anything at the moment as I've just bought some new knives & edc gear (I might make a video about them one day). Anyways, love to watch the reviews and take care = )
That light is growing on me. Hey, I did read that in the pocket the turn ring was too easy to activate the light on by just typical body movement. If you carried it, do you see that could be true? I wouldn't want to worry about is my light on or not when I don't want it to be.
this is absolutely untrue about accidental firing via the magnetic control ring.. i've carried this torch in my pockets for months. no accidental firings. that said the button triggers turbo with about 2.5 lbs or so of pressure. so at least in principle, that could easily be triggered bouncing around in large jacket pocket, potentially. however in pants, on a clip, i've yet to have an issue, personally.
I can say for certain that it does not turn on in the pocket. When you get it you will feel why. It is crisp and clean when turning. It takes a bit of effort, but not too much that it's annoying. Absolutely no concern at all about it turning on in the pocket! I would have said so if it did. I am looking for the perfect tactical light that can be used in defensive situations. A light that turns on in the pocket is a bloody danger when trying not to be seen. I would use it if it did that. Take my word, you're good with this light
@@quickcuts3000 Thanks man! That's what great about the flashaholic community is that you can get such details. If anything, the light and the manufacturer deserve honesty. I'll be looking at Nextorch more seriously now.
@@flashlightcrazy "When you get it you will feel why." With such a good review from you, I might just be doing that. Thanks for clarifying about that ring and tail switch. If I just wasn't so happy with my Nitecore P23i I'd bite the bullet now and order it. It's in my sights now though. The site 1Lumen said the actual candela is higher than listed...23,875cd.
Hey, I was wondering if you could give me a recommendation or two out from my preferences. I'd like a tactical flashlight (so quick no thought/fuss turbo on) but also something with a looooong runtime moonlight mode. Pluses would be tail stand and standard charging system. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Matthew, I believe the Thrunite TN12 PRO is the light for you. I have it with me now but i havent reviewed it yet. But let me tell you a few things about it: 1900 lumens + 36000cd Instant Turbo when you hit the tail clicky Protruding wings around the tail clicky to allow tail standing 0.5 lumen firefly mode which runs for 37 days Two way pocket clip Charging port on side (but can charge battery in an external battery charger) 18650 battery This light is my current everyday carry light. I am giving a bit too much info away here because i have not reviewed it yet, but as far as an everyday light that can be tactical as well as everyday use, THIS ONE IS IT!
I know you love weltool as your #1 but how does this fair? Is the 1600 lumens and 22 000 candela strong enough? On your top 5 of defensive lights that are this size, where would you rank this one? Btw you should check out the Klarus XT2CR pro. I recon it's right up your ally
@@flashlightcrazyI think i've landed on this as my next. Can you tell me if it is easy/you get worried of it turning on in your pocket accidently with the turning switch?
