You're right it's actually not really a stage name really Ken is just using his birth name like his real Korean name So Geon. Since he's Korean ethnicity but Japanese nationality he has 2 names and since they're not a J-pop group and they're debuting in Korea and So Geon is recognizable as being a Korean name it's smart marketing wise so people can recognize quickly this group has a Korean member. and the members have always called him Geon so I think it's more comfortable but he's just officially using it now. It's pronounced So-Go-n ? hard to explain, kinda with a long o instead of a short o as in go. So like 'gone' but 'go-ne' Also NEXZ is pronounced Nex(G), the G stands for Generation and there is no hard Z sound in Japanese like there is in English so They just pronounce Z as G. So it's Nex-G(Next Generation) I hope that helps:)
