So proud of this video. Roland Härdtner is excellent and also the orchestra. Thanks to Roland for the editing the video and to Burkhard Roggenbuck the great sound of the recording. If possible listen with head phones for an optimal experience.

I am surprised by how good the timpani sounds in this piece, particularly in the 1st and 2nd movement. I find that the timpani is almost like thunder singing. The playing with the cymbal and the crotales with the glissandi is really outwordly. Roland Härdtner really does a fine job in blending the timpani with the orchestra.
