The best option would be if Mbappe ran left to take out some players which could also make it difficult for Bayern to crowd Neymar which they were doing the entire game, the Neymar would have three choices to Mbappe on the left, Di Maria right or take the center in case defenders went with both Di Maria and Mbappe. Mbappe made a bad choice running to the center which took two options away. Neymar was at least double teamed the entire game. Come back to this play, the two exchanges with Di Maria nonetheless end up with a Di Maria shot inside the box with at good angle.
