Hey guys, I'm newer to your channel, but I thought I'd just let you know that if you like NF, you may also enjoy AK (also known by iamtherealak) if you haven't heard some of his tracks before. He's actually someone who started out as a RU-vid rapper, and while his style is different than NF's he's just as versatile! He's also one of the "one in a million" (sort of) in that he was discovered when he went viral off his Panda Freestyle rap at age 16. Anyway, thank you so much for another great reaction! It’s a vibe. I like it on its own. I feel like it’s a label push, when you catch up to the journey, there’s a few songs that just feel out of place to me. “Wait”, “Lie”, “Turn the Music Up”, “Got You on my Mind”, and “You’re Special” are just odd balls to me. They’re still good....:just... not NF .....to me.

Why does the journey have to eliminate songs? The journey of NF as an artist includes all his stuff. You get to see the different sides of him and his evolution.

@@brandongraham4816 Going start to finish thru his albums would do that (and some have taken that path). IMO the 'journey' is a pared down selection of tracks intended to get someone caught up as fast as possible on who Nate is...appreciate how his songs link together...and get folks excited for new music. You 'need' to absorb the tracks Mansion, Therapy Session and How Could You Leave Us to understand his later music. You 'need' to watch I Just Wanna Know and Real to appreciate Outro. But as good as Remember This is...it isn't a pre-requisite for his overall story or later songs. Of course 10 fans may define the journey 10 different ways. Just my two cents as a long timer. I remember when it was still up for debate whether to place Outro before Intro 3!

You can learn about who he is from certain songs and for reactors be like all the rest, but going song by song gives you a real look into his evolution, willingness to play around and try alternate things, which is what makes him so unique. Not every song has to have the feel he gives most and the versatility he provides track by track is incredible to see.

That just isn't what is meant by 'the journey' imo. it arose from people reacting to new music and being confused (what are the balloons...why the painted smile...). so to understand those symbols and references a list of pre-requisite songs was generated to provide a roadmap of understanding. that is "the" journey. track by track is certainly "a" journey as well!!!
