Something that many people don’t know about NF is that he is actually super funny. His music paints him as this introverted guy who like never smiles and such, but in reality he is funny af. He does funny bits at his shows and stuff like he could legitimately be a comedian. He’s a man of many talents, he got the music, acting, and comedy down lmao. This song hits me so different now from when I first heard it. My wife just decided to dump me for a little jackass who was 8 years old when we started seeing each other 16 years ago. Several months back, we had felt sorry for the kid, so we sorta started treating him like a little brother. A few months ago as I realized she was spending more and more time with him while I wasn't around, I started noticing changes for the worse. She started losing touch with things like compassion, honesty and loyalty and seemed to embrace judgement, self-centeredness and disrespect. After a month and a half of her pursuing this new wayward path, she's become so much worse. I love her so much still, but almost don't even like her anymore. She seems intent on making me hurt in ways that I never imagined a human could. It's like the woman I fell in love with has been reprogrammed or Mandela Effected. Not even the kids recognize her right now. So now, I just wanna know why, and how she sleeps at night.
