Just to clarify, it’s not a diss to em. NF grew up on Em but in my opinion, it is a response from NF to Em because em call NF a n-f ing copy version of him in the ringer. It’s also a response to the general regarding criticism toward NF.

Also the lyrics on Returns video were wrong in a couple places but most notably was at the end. When he says "I cross my i's and dot my t's, it makes no sense but I've learned..." the actual following line is "normal to you, is not to me" so he's acknowledging what he just said doesn't sound normal but it is to him. Also, the cross my i's part is a double play on words because typically crossing your eyes is a way to look different or strange. In other words, not normal.

This isn’t a diss to Eminem. I know people were saying that because NF says drop the T and A from team. So if you drop the T and the A from T.E.A.M. you have the letter E and M left, but that also makes M.E. and NF clearly says ME right after he says drop the T and A. That’s the only line in the whole song that could even maybe be taken as a diss to Eminem. NF state’s in an interview that isn’t wasn’t towards anyone in particular. People are just trying to make connections to it. They think that because dropping T&A off of TEAM leaves EM that it’s a direct diss. All Nate says about it is that he has nothing but love and respect for Eminem. If it wasn’t for him, there would be no NF. Fans just want drama and beef to be there.

It isn't an EM diss, though you could analyze the part from "There is no I in Team ....... but lose the T and A - and then what's left is "EM" which is what Eminem often is called, and after he says that, he went into the whole verse you guys thought was directed at Em.
