Can you tell the difference from ‟ *The Search* ˮ album to the ‟ *Clouds Mixtape* ˮ ? He was searching for himself & happiness, then in between the albums his wife got pregnant & his son was born, which you can tell how much happier & confident he has become since his sons birth. I don't even wait - I immediately hit "Like" out of pure instinct due to the quality consistency, and that's *not* a joke 💯 That being said, I agree with some previous comments - The video for Paid My Dues was released on December 3, 2019. It was an early Christmas present for us because no one knew it was coming! That was less than 5 months after The Search album was released 😲 The Mixtape wasn't released until March 26, 2021 (which was, fun fact - 4 days before his birthday). Some of his in between albums singles are not on any of his albums at all, so I think he probably put it on there as a Christmas present for us and to give people who haven't heard of him a nudge to go farther back into his catalog. So YES, it's DEFINITELY before Clouds the Mixtape in the NF Journey timeline, and it's 🔥🔥🔥🔥 especially when you know the context behind it and who he's talking to.

Warm up is a very good song of him too. It doesn't really something to do with the journey, it's more like an interlude between Therapy Session and Perception but it's 🔥🔥 you really should react to it and pls continue the mixtape. There's a bar you didn't get cause you haven't listened yet to "story" (another song in the mixtape) hope you get it later
Please check out one of his real early songs called “Your Grace” from his Moments album. He sings the first two verses and raps the third verse. It’s a very good song
