Thank you for recognizing his suicidal "cues". It seems no one else has picked up on this. His videos definitely tell a story and there is a sequence to them. Once you listen/watch all the vidoes from the last 3 album's, come back and watch this, it will make more sense. My theory is that the people is white are the different issues that make up his cluster of balloons(issues/burdens). If you notice, they each only have 2 or 3 balloons compared to the number he has. Also I believe the lady does represents his mom. (The how could you live us video talks about that and the lady portraying his mom had blonde hair as does the lady in this video). He lays down in the swing, which I believe, demonstrates a connection between the two. My thoughts about him receiving the white hospital/psychiatric type clothes is that he is part of the problem. He mentions self hatred in this video and how he's the one that's locked himself in his cage(mental health issues). The shopping cart is a portable cage. There are many other refrences, you just have to listen for them. As always, that last part is just a piece to the puzzle nate is creating for us!

In the video the cage from Outcast is in the back showing he is moving on from perception. It also represents him leaving and searching for something different, hint the song/album name. The cart and balloons represents the baggage and struggles he still carries w him despite leaving his cage. I think the people in all white around are suppose to represent people around him that are “happy” or doing good but they are also carrying balloons but only a few symbolizing they have struggles to but clearly not as much. He also says he’s “looking for the map to hope” and I know this could be a stretch but I feel like we’ll either get a song named hope or something that’s connected to hope. Even if it’s not a song I feel like he’ll reference hope more than just this one time. So he is searching for something, we obviously don’t know for sure what he’s searching for but I think it’s probably just happiness or satisfaction in life, or “hope”, hope that he can be happy and find peace within himself. I don’t think he’s looking for success bc he’s already had so much, and he’s already said that he doesn’t want fame. So success, at least how most people view it, isn’t what he’s looking for. The ending of the music video is really interesting. It’s hard to say what it means for sure but I feel like the white clothes that he put next to NF in the cart is in illustration of “happy” people wanting him to be happy to, or join them in a happier life style so the person giving him the clothes is probably someone stretching out their hand to help him through the struggle he’s going through. I have a couple other ideas of what it could means but I’m going w that one. I think the next music video we see from him, he will be IN those white clothes and we’ll be able to understand the meaning much more. But anyways guys that’s my opinion on the imagery in this video lol. I know it’s long af and if anyone read all of this I really appreciate you lmao

He flew to ICELAND just to film this. Dedicated to his vision. No fabricstion when he has a concept he makes it happen! The people in background symbolize his burdens, he said he brought a couple of them with him.
Mee2kz it’s the balloons that symbolize his burdens. The people in the background have only a few burdens while nf has a whole cluster of them. You can also see that he leaves a few of them at the swing with the lady, whom we can assume is his mom, symbolizing that he is leaving that behind.
When NF said he brought some burdens with him he pointed at the balloons so I’m guessing the balloons represent his burdens and the shopping cart represents himself and the people in white represent the therapist
I think the people represent his temptations like when one of them put white clothes like they were wearing in the cart. It's like they were trying to get him to be like them

People in white wandering around are others on their own journeys through life. Note that they also carry black balloons but they are holding them. In control of them verses the numerous balloons that follow behind him and does not have control over yet. I think the offering of the white clothing signifies a chance to purge most of his burdens.
the new mic sounds good btw, but yeah so I usually hate when I read the comment sections of NFs music n their's pple saying their interpretation but in a way that their stating it's true. so yeah imma be a bit hypocritical (I'm not stating it tho) but he's clearly left the cage and is still carrying his burdens with him (balloons) but what stood out to me/my interpretation, is the white clothed pple r like pple in our world right who are also dealing with their burdens or demons but a putting a front/mask (the white coats) n like at the end they like shoving it to him be like just put it on like the rest of us, coz u know Nate's pretty open about his mental health whilst. but the norm/ the rest of us r usually hiding how we're really feelin. anyone else kinda get what I'm saying?

I didn't think that when I heard it the first 50 times lol but now I'm so wondering. In this song he also responds to another that said something about him. I believe it was buzz feed reactions. They called Nf Forgettable. And NF responded in this song! He said " you can call me anything , but don't call me forgettable " so it was deff on his mind during recording this song about replying to people so maybe you are correct

Here’s my guess on symbolism, a lot of which carries over from previous videos. Cage in the back represents being trapped by past and burdens. Black balloons are burdens / pains, cart is like a cage, and he’s carrying it with him, but smaller version. Progress though! White guys are people pretending to be OK but they also have burdens they’re carrying. Video starts out in a dark, depressing place. Ends in a place with more green / life. NF is making progress in his search for peace. 🔥🔥🔥
The balloons symbolize his burdens. The other people in the video in the white outfits had less balloons than he had and at the end of that video one of those people gave him a white outfit.
Ok best i got so far, we see him walking away from the cage so hes out of his mind. Not crazy just not locked up anymore. The ballloons are the burdens hes taking with him. Like you cant get rid off all of them. The white coats look like zombies while they roam and give him the clothes in the end like every other rapper is the same and they want him to conform.
