He opened the cage and I think he is driving fear out, that's what I'm thinking, because like he said in "Mansion" he is dealing with fear since he was a kid, and in "Intro 3" he was digging fear's grave to scare him (give fear a dose of its own medicine) ;) what made me think of that way are the lines "Had to see a therapist then I found out Somethin’ funny’s going on up in my house Yeah, started thinkin’ maybe I should move out You know, pack my cart take a new route"

“Something wrong up in my house” is a reference to his song “Mansions” where he uses the metaphor of a trashed mansion as the brokenness of his own mind... he’s talking about leaving that brokenness for a “new house” ... a “map to hope” as he says.

It’s funny to see the different reactions between those who reacted to most of NFs last 3 albums and those who only reacted to a few of his songs in the past. Those who have dived deep and explored his world their reactions have been just like yours extremely giddy and almost can’t contain it which exactly how I was the moment I seen his video drop. What I think: NF says in the music video that he brought a “few” of his burdens with him and points at the balloons. As you can see he carries a lot of them, compared to the people in white outfits. It shows that Nate is in a really dark place and is dealing with a lot of things. Towards the end they offer him a white outfit showing that he can be just like them and not have to deal with so much.

He’s talking about his house, his mansion...his mind. He thinks it’s about time that he moves on. From his pain, his burdens (represented by the balloons, by the way), I interpreted it as he is sick of the way he’s been suppressed by his past and he’s ready to move on. Idk, that might just be me.

Here’s my take on the symbols, some of which carry over from other videos. Cage in back represents being trapped by past and burdens. Black balloons are burdens / pains, cart is like a cage, and he’s carrying it with him, but smaller version. You’re making progress, NF! White guys are people pretending to be perfect but they also have burdens they’re carrying. Video starts out in a dark, depressing place. Ends in a place with more green / life. NF is making progress in his search for peace. 🔥🔥🔥

NF does not put things in his songs (or importantly videos) unless he has a meaning for it! So the people walking around are important and the ending is very important, we just have to wait for the album to find out the true meaning.

Black balloons represent burdens. The white clothes could represent healthy change...or mental patients clothing. So, perhaps feeling he’s going crazy, or trying to heal. But one thing I did notice is that the people in white had fewer balloons. That’s why I’m leaning towards healing...but maybe not. He said he’s “looking for the map of hope” so I guess we’ll find out.

1- love the shirt. Go Bucks! 2- in my opinion I believe the ending is when he gets tired of pushing his baggage around he gives up and climbs in the cart symbolizing he's "given up". Then the person walks up and hands him white clothes. I believe that the white clothes mean he's been "washed clean". He is a Christian after all.
