NF has been such a huge influence on my life. I found his music right after he released Mansion, so about 5 years ago now. I was in a really dark place in my life. I was dealing with depression and anxiety, was very lonely, and my family was falling apart. I found Mansion by accident actually, but quickly fell in love with his music. It was so healing to have an artist make such beautiful music about broken families and trauma and trying to claw your way out of that hole. There were so many nights where all I could do to keep myself together was listen to his music. I'm in a much healthier and happier place in my life now, and almost feel like we have grown together somehow. Seeing Nate grow as a person, get married, and open up about his mental health has given me so much hope. Not only for myself but for every young sad kid that will find his music and find a way to survive and grow with it too. I'm so excited to see you continue this journey and love how genuine your reactions are. Thank you for helping spread his music and messages to your audience!

NF is an artist of pure emotion through stories. I had learned of his music in some of my toughest times mentally. He had gotten me through it by showing me that both my emotions and his are valid. Seeing you react to these songs for the first time make me remember the first time I had listened to them. Pure joy on your face for getting something new but also sadness for hearing something so sad and real in life. All of the emotions that we see you go through in these videos are all emotions we felt while listening to these also. NF is all about real life situations that we empathize with and can release some of our own baggage into also by relating with what we can. Man. I love this song. I've loved it for years. But it's also been years since I felt an emotional reaction to this song. Until I watched this video. Crazy how I've listened to this song hundreds of times and 1 person making a first time reaction video will make me realize things I never felt. I'm a future educator and I have experience working with students. But the connection he made between failure and the average student's mindset blew me away. There's not a single reactor out there who has given a new perspective on a song I already loved, until now.

Just commented on your last video, "Wait," which was the first video of yours I had commented on. Honestly did not expect to comment again, especially directly after. Sometimes when people pause during reaction videos to talk about something, it feels empty, just a platitude or a cliché. It often feels like it is removing some of the meaning from the song. I've appreciated so far that that has not been my experience with your videos. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the other side of music, beyond just the lyrics, and how it is used to add so much value. But I must say that I appreciated your words on mistakes and failure. As a martial arts instructor, and as an employer, I see people tearing themselves apart over their mistakes, when all they are doing by taking it so hard is holding themselves back. It is a difficult journey to guide them through. Many of them have heard the same message you shared here, but as you know, it's not just what you say, it is how you say it. I felt you did a good job, and appreciated your riddle as the exclamation point. Thank you.

After watching all of your NF reactions and several others, I am most looking forward to seeing how you feel about Can You Hold Me, as well as Paralyzed from the Mansion album... I think you'll flip out when you hear the former though. Especially if you're an audiophile!

You should check out the collaboration NF did with Flame called Start Over. He does the singing vocals & leaves the rapping to Flame. That’ll give you a good idea of just how good he can sing.
