Undeniable interview with Terrell Davis was something very revealing in it's full length form, but specifically this story of how his mindset was fixed on proving everyone wrong after his selection in the NFL Draft shows his true character.

Great running back. For a couple of years, he was the best in the game.

Terrell Davis will always be my favorite Running Back. The first time I saw him run against the Jets and he gained 5 yards after being hit I knew the Broncos would a Super Bowl with him.😊

Favorite of all? Ever seen the highlights of Tony Dorsett?

My all time backfield is: blocking fullback Devlin of the Patriots with Dorsett and Dickerson as RB's.

He was the final piece. They had the best offensive line, and he was the perfect back for our offense.

I was at some of the training camp practices that year and I think it was pretty clear he had something special. I don't think the media had caught on yet, but us fans did and I'm sure the coaches saw it too. To this day, I've never been as impressed as I was at that camp.

Very different time of the NFL... 5 RB's taken in the first round of that 1995 draft. And then of course.... Curtis Martin in the 3rd round and Terrell Davis in the 6th.

Sometimes, you just find gems in the later stages of the draft.

@@jamaljennings5734True, but you just don't see 5 RB's go in the first round anymore.

I remember he bought a house and moved his mother in and didn't have a girlfriend or wife until he retired. Now he has kids.

Regarding the saying on the wall at the end of the video: That's what Dick Butkus missed. Forget the Super Bowl. He never even won a playoff game. Never played in one. Something was missing all right.

Same can be said of Dan Marino. One of the youngest most prolific QB's ever. Only got one trip to the Super Bowl as a 2nd year player, and had it spoiled by Joe Montana. Not as bad as Butkus never even seeing the playoffs. But sometimes you only get that one shot, then it's gone.

If Terrel Davis didn't get hurt he would've became the universal great RB of all time.

The Broncos loss to Jacksonville can be attributed to 1 player, Michael Parry! He was too lazy to get his butt off the field in time and the Broncos were penalized and that allowed them to continue a drive that resulted in a go ahead touchdown! Parry was cut after that!
