It's a rule, and their job is to uphold it. I can repeat this sentiment all day because you didn't seem to get it the first time.

I know the denotation (dictionary definition) of savage, but if you hear the way he said savage you can tell the connotation (derived or secondary meaning based on context) of savage was to veil the bizarreness of Gronk's actions. Additionally, the announcer was trying to justify Gronk's actions because the defender was holding rather than address how immature Gronk's actions were.

Area ahhh okay I see what you're saying. That's fair in the sense of its easy to see why, but it's still no excuse. I won't lie I'm a Steelers fan through. I was born in Pittsburgh though. So I have deeply routed hate for the Bengals as a whole, but more so no simply because the whole team seems to be made of guys getting away with crimes both on and off the field. I'm not gonna say the Steelers don't start some of it nor they don't provoke it, I know they do. But it seems like Bengals in general with all teams not just the Steelers are playing dirtier than most others

Football fights aren’t that exciting because they have protection on and the only time they dont is when they take there helmet off but you don’t see that to often and every football fan can agree with this tbh🤷🏻‍♂️ the only time it’s cool is when everyone is on the field and the benches are cleared and “everyone” is fighting
