Being a man doesn’t make your brain any less squishy. With some of these impacts what you’re saying is akin to telling someone to man up after being hurt in a car accident. At least in a car there are seatbelts and airbags. In football you’ve got the initial impact, potentially the impact of another player, and then the impact of the ground. Each one applying large amounts of force on your skull and brain. There’s nothing you can do as a man or any type of human to stop yourself from being hurt by that besides not getting in the situation. We’re not talking about playground insults and horseplay, we’re talking about life endangering trauma.

The only way to stop helmet to helmet hits is to stop football. A helmet to helmet hit creates a flag, possible ejection, huge fines, game suspensions, scrutiny from fans and dumbass sport analyst, and a reputation of being a ‘stupid’ or ‘dirty’ player. But even with all of that there are still helmet to helmet hits and it will continue to happen. Many players are not trying to deal with any of that and many players don’t deserve it.

Pimp King he was going for the ball. If helmet to helmet contact happens, but the defensive player is clearly going for the ball, and not targeting the receiver, then it’s a clean hit. And other angles show that the corner was going after the ball.

I agree there are alot of bs calls on QBs for hits not even close to the helmet or diving at the legs etc but with that said I believe there needs to be extreme measures to protect these players in this game. I think automatically ejecting players that make these hits is necessary. Tackling is elementary and there's VERY little excuse for helmet to helmet hits period
