1st NFL game in Germany was a success. Tom Brady is now 4-0 while playing outside of the USA. #SEAvsTB #NFLNetwork #Week10 #MunichGame #NFLMunichGame #NFL #TB12 #NFLDeutschland
As a German, I don't understand why American "football" isn't more popular throughout the world. it is a much better and more technical game that what Americans would call "soccer"
I’ve read that ice hockey is actually a more viewed and popular sport in Germany than American Football. That would be interesting for the NHL to hold a few regular season games in Germany and elsewhere in Europe.
Hindsight is always 20 20 and Brady was drafted right when the era of the "athletic qb" started. People wanted Brett favres or p manning with rocket arms or d Culpeper who could knock down a lineman or even Ryan leaf who could run and do the same. I'll take the regular sized accurate qb anyway.
Then the NFL games must be played in stadiums, that are not hosting any (european) football mathces. The turf is smoother and better to play football. The american football turfs are way to hard - some players of football teams like Bayern Munich and Manchester City were complaining about it on the US pre-season tour. It´s not possible to get both happy.
