@@twow3f855 I was more just talking about how into the game they were. But you might be right. Brady took one of the last records Peyton had with that comeback. I don't think Eli cares though. He is the one guy who will always have a Trump card on Brady which I have to admit annoys me to no end. I still shudder when I think about 2007.
@@twow3f855 Why do you assume they have feelings of animosity toward his success from their reactions here? The reactions they had toward the called back TD were favorable toward the play, and the only negative things Peyton said at the end/throughout was his criticism of NO not calling any timeouts during the drive. I don't watch all of these casts but every time I do it seems like both of them are always trying to analyze and look for what both sides could be doing. Eli focusing on what the D can do doesn't come off as him wanting them to succeed specifically against Brady, but more of just trying to comment on the situation in general. I mean just look at Peyton...dude is laser focused the whole time like he's trying to read the plays back when he was playing. MRoberts is right that the competitive spirit in general is still there, you can see it by how focused they are or how upset they get when bad plays or game management happens. But there's no evidence in words or reaction here that really suggest them wishing for TB to fail. Sure, they could have personal feelings of jealousy for his accomplishments, but it's not really shown here at all.
@@twow3f855 Man we are so lucky we got to watch the greatest payer ever for over twenty years. People only got to see Jordan for like 10. They only saw Gretzky for even less. They saw Willie Mays for 22 years, but not at the height of his powers. We are so damn lucky. I'll tell my grandkids about this.
@@twow3f855 maybe by the end of the vid you forgot the beginning, where Peyton is sitting there going "get this first down, get this first down" , not to mention every subsequent reaction would be exactly what a buc fan would be doing I can't see where you even pull that from. People that achieve at that level have no need to carry grudges against another achiever, not after retirement.
Very astute observation because above all the paid shills, hucksters, jock sniffers, and rump swabs, dudes like Nick Wrong, Rob Parker, etc. these two are uniquely qualified to watch in awe at the 🐐🐐🐐 in action
Nothing makes their analysis enthralling. Watching peyton carry the broadcast with his “charisma” while Eli struggles to string a sentence together is unbearable. I’d think more highly of the broadcast if they were just grunting and throwing feces.
@@ryanlapoint89 lol Eli beat the Pats in two super bowls plus Peyton was always a touch matchup. I still remember Marlin Jackson picking off Brady in the AFC championship the year the Colts played the Bears in the Super Bowl
@EROCK ARMY NIGHA.. I still cant believe that Bears team made the Superbowl!. Thats how good their Defense was though.. Just imagine if they had a decent QB and at least an extra offensive threat
Love how quiet and at times transfixed they were at the action towards the end. Like the other commenter said, they picture themselves down on the field calling the plays!
I seriously think Brady’s final season, while one of his personal worst, was still one of the best QB seasons that year. 4700 yards, 25 TDs to 9 INTs, as well as one of the lowest sack numbers, all while having no run game to fall back on
@@wheeliesmalls9464 Think ur misremembering..they got blown out vs the cowboys in the playoffs lol. But that bucs team was not that good that year they had the benefit of being in a bad division and brady still being somewhat decent at 45
I don’t think Eli at least feels that way with a 2-0 Super Bowl record against Brady. The rivalry between Peyton and Brady was definitely more heated over the years. You can tell Peyton is rooting against Brady a bit lol
@@CacophonyOfDestruction if he is that truly sucks there friends in real life he’s out of the game why do you even think this way I’m sure he’s rooting for him
Payton LOVES football. His facial expressions and even his breathing was changing during big moments in the game. You can tell he still feels everything about this game.
Love it. I love that their eyes are darting all over the field, not just on the QB and the ball. Like he noticed Evans wasn't on the field. They're looking at coverages, and what they're being given at all times. It's so much more fun to watch than the talking heads in the booth. It makes it way more meaningful instead of trying to sell us on some story line.
while it was a hold, it also was a pretty decent double team block. on a game winning TD in the last few seconds of the game I dont know if I like the call... but it ended up just hurting the saints.
@@Piccolo918 While it was ify Idt it was a hold either but when you get a reputation for consistantly holding the refs arent gonna give you those ify 50/50 calls and if im not mistaken that was Donavan Smith who leads the league in holding. Yeah I know it shouldnt matter but it does often times. Js
They were saying New Orleans should've called a timeout. That way, if Tampa scores, there's more than 3 seconds left. With 40 seconds, in a 1 point game, you can get in position for a FG to win it. With 3, you can't. They were wanting New Orleans to take the timeout.
Peyton was saying NO should call a TO, he said early on that you might as well assume TB was gonna score so why not give yourself some time afterwards...
Nah Brady had the offense set for a TD no matter what, he did force them to use a TO but Brady was getting that TD no matter what otherwise he would’ve thrown an incompletion along with a timeout = more time.
Yeah it's the combination of everything. Super quick processing, speedy release, pinpoint accuracy and every throw is an absolute rope so it's hard for the defense to see it and jump it. GOAT.
Also had nine one and done in the playoffs in his career and played in a dome stadium for 14 year's and only won one Superbowl, that means something also, most overrated, overhyped QB in NFL history
@@KenjiTheFriend brother you are so welcome, yes, he was good but the hype about him is way overboard and he is definitely overated, I didn't even post his Superbowl stats, their bad, the media built him up way too much
Anyone remember Peyton’s farewell speech? Makes me cry every time. It also made me respect him way more than I ever thought I could have. Miss watching him play
To be honest, that sounds kind of crazy to me 😂😂.. Everyone who is a football fan, (especially those of us who watched his whole career) very well liked, and very well respected Peyton. In the HIGHEST form.. The only ppl who thought any differently were fans of the teams he beat. And even they like him now
@@generalbucknaked3080 well I am not going to lie I didn’t exactly pay attention to his career. I’m a little on the younger side but I still got to watch him play.
I have not but after checking it out it brought a tear to my eye. ~ Pats fan. You know he was right about one thing. You really gotta cherish those precious moments. Thinking of all the Brady vs Manning (although it was them against the opposing defenses) games really hit home. Man what an era, so glad I was alive to see it.
@@chadcurtiss5965 I'm betting he has at least one more year in him. I really don't see him having a legit SB shot with the lousy team around him. I just would be shocked if he stayed with the Bucs. Given his childhood team the 49ers are a stacked team, but with 2 QB's that can't stay healthy, seems like a dream fit and lovely way for Tom to both live out childhood dreams and hopefully go out on top! And he was only retiring for Gisele, so that obstacle is gone.
This is such a great way to deliver a football game. These two have so much insight, listening to them run through their options in real time as the game unfolds really adds an interesting and entertaining dimension to the game. Never been a football player at any level, but I can imagine many who are would find their on the spot analysis beneficial.
I’m not even that into football and I’ve just been watching clips of them doing commentary like this, it’s so much more interesting to watch with their insight.
It’s much more natural and unbiased since they don’t have to worry about the audience like a normal broadcast; no commercials or graphics to promote. This is somewhat on-demand. Romo seemed cool but he’s become really cheesy and forced. Look at these two - Peyton in command and thinking through every possibility. Eli is scratching his hair, appearing like he’s in over his head and lost but seeing the simplicity. Awesome insight!
U saw how Peyton was lost or called it wrong most plays .. Brady was on another level haha on the Td pass to the running back Peyton was saying he would have all 4 routes in the end zone n keep the back to block fearing the sack but that’s exactly who they threw it too the running back cause the saints were probably thinking just like Peyton was . Football is a lot of strategy n scheme
This video is priceless... Two QB’s that are siblings and whom were Super Bowl Champions... Both enjoying watching and commenting on one of their fiercest opponents that both had the chance to play against several years ago... Now that QB, TB12 is making them to rejoice again this beautiful sport called American Football 🏈... AWESOME 😎!!!
@@gr8t1bobo so sick. the two goats, one commentating, one playing, both dissecting the opposing teams defenses. love peyton and tom, they had some legendary games.
that shows you how great brady is more than anything, that even peyton fking manning is just conceding that a great saints defense should assume that they are gonna give up a TD to brady and should call timeouts for their presumptive FG drive.
@@rayxmen honestly a lot of the decisions that should’ve been made in this game were common sense which is why the Saints suck bc our coaches have none
Look at the clock management. Just look at it. You dont see thay today from ANY quarterbacks. Cool, calm, knows he has enough time to do what he needs to do, doesnt take any stupid sacks. When you see guys like Dak do what they do at the end of games, like last night against Philly, you learn to appreciate having a smart quarterback. Will never see another guy like him
More sports can absolutely use this sort of format and it would be so helpful for the casuals and hardcore fans alike…2 genuine legends of the game who know what they’re talking about. Would love to see this in basketball and soccer
It works better on Football cuz there's so much down time with hockey and basketball it would be harder to watch something like this ...unless they only came in during down time like timeouts and faceoffs
I love Peyton's mouth gaping stare. You can tell the gears in his brain are spinning at the speed of sound. He always was a horrendous athlete, but when your brain can see football in slow motion, and you have intuition to know what's going to happen next, you can win without needing to run... And since game knows game, you can see the respect for Brady.
Just look at Peyton at the end. Literally so jacked up, like he's there! He's holding himself! Full 2 arm hugging the body or can't sit still. LoL I love watching the Manning Cast cause Peyton has that PTSD/junkie itch!
Look at the stoic demeanor of Brady during this drive. No celebration in between plays. Reminds me of Tiger Woods walking between holes on one of his winning runs. No emotion until it's over. Just complete concentration
I celebrated finishing my masters degree by going to this game to see the GOAT play. I was sitting next to an older couple that had season tickets. The husband was telling me about how he had left early twice before only to hear on the radio that Brady had made a comeback. Just before when this video starts, the bucs has a possession where it looked like Brady threw an interception. The old man next to me got frustrated and left, I’m sure to great disappointment later! For me this was the most incredible, once in a lifetime chance too see Brady make one of his signature last minute rallies to win it. Whether or not he did, I was just happy to be there and see him work. As the Bucs inched closer the whole crowd started going wild!! I was yelling like a maniac in celebration after the touchdown (that got called back) and then went nuts on another level when Brady scored AGAIN leaving just 3 seconds on the clock!! WHAT A GAME!! It’s bittersweet to know this was his last great comeback win - I’m grateful to have been there, and will cherish the memories forever Much love to the Mannings - Peyton was my favorite QB growing up ( I hated Brady back then!) it’s heartwarming to see Peyton appreciate Brady’s legendary mastery Sorry for the long post, just thought I’d share! Peace and blessings to you all!!✌️🏈🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This was my one and only time at a nfl game. So happy I got to see Brady do his brady thing with the comeback. Soooooo many people left the game it was hilarious 😂
Tbh…Brady didn’t do his thing. He struggled the whole game. Mark Ingram runs out of bounds instead of getting the first down that would’ve basically ended the game.
I was at this game too, and it was crazy because a TON of people left after the Bucs decided to kick a field goal late in the 4th instead of going for it on 4th and short... And I was like "they just made it a 1 possession game, why would you leave now?".. Awesome comeback. It was their first game back after Germany as well and they played Country Roads at the end of the game, which people were into, but the crowd was so small because so many people dipped that it didn't sound anywhere as close to as cool when they pulled it off in Belgium lol.
Eli and Payton couldn't even believe their eyes. Tom Brady is the best closer in the game EVER. He sees all, feels all, been there, do that player that ever lived. Shock and awe. Neal
The looks on their faces as if they're reminiscing being back on that field and reading the defense themselves, the admiration for the GOAT doing what he does best, really a cool video for Football.
The TD pass that was called back due to the holding penalty is an absolutely TEXT BOOK throw for all my QBs out there. If the defender shows you his back, put the ball right next to his ear, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL throw by Brady right there.
You can tell Peyton sees what’s coming when Brady gets into that rhythm. That’s why he kept saying NO needs to call a TO. Got to break it up and adjust. He knows what it’s like to get into that passing rhythm, and it’s over for the other team when it happens. NO should have called a TO about 3 plays into this drive to adjust. Brady was picking them apart in that D. This is good stuff.
I love watching the Manning’s analyze football games it actually got me back into watching the NFL. The way their mindset translates to the commentary makes for such a unique & enjoyable experience
Yup. And he kept saying they needed to call a TO with the assumption that Tampa Bay would score. He knew Brady was going to make it happen and that NO needed to do as much as possible to have time to try and get a Field Goal.
@@Shelmer75 It's not that they know he will score. It's that, if N.O. gets the stop, the game's over. If Tampa scores, the game is only over if there's no time left. So, by calling a timeout, you can play it both ways.
I watched this broadcast. What I always find interesting is that the respect The Mannings have with Tom Brady and vice versa, and how impressed they are at his age of 45 he is still playing the way he is. I am sure if they could be doing the same thing at his age they would have. These three are among the best quarterbacks the NFL has seen. Between them with the 11 Super Bowls all three of them won (two by each Manning) it is just amazing what they all have done in the NFL.
Even though Brady had a down year by his standards, he still had moments like this game ,and the Rams game. His ability to come through with the game on the line, was unprecedented. Manning,, Montana and, Elway were also great in those situations, but Brady was the best. Even when he came up short, he seemed to always get his team close. Giving opposing teams that "here we go again' feeling.
Wow it is so freakin awesome to see Peyton correctly call a route pre-snap and know it will be open, then it 100% is and Tom just misses it. But then Tom just wills the team to victory anyway haha. Really beautiful little example of what made them both so great in their own ways.
You can tell low-key Payton is at awe in a good way watching his old nemesis play while also putting his money on the Saints. The gestures he makes are not because of jealousy of Brady, but rather how defficient the Saints clock management is through his eyes because he knows Brady damn too well....at the the end, the brothers grew up rooting for New Orleans.
Wow, just coming from watching the game against the 49ers last Sunday, 12/11/22 it is amazing how well Tom was working the out patterns with his WR & TE's and nothing seemed to be working in San Fransisco. Like watching a different team here than the one who played last Sunday.
On top of the 7 Super Bowls, Brady possibly could've won 5 more if the Manning brothers didn't exist. Eli beat him in Super Bowl for 2007 & 2011 seasons. Peyton beat him in 2006, 20013, 2015 AFC Championship games. Just imagine the mind boggling insanity of owning 12 rings!
Their personal histories playing against Brady makes their game analysis very enthralling.. Cray that both Eli and Peyton and are watching BRADY still play….
I was blessed by being around for Ali vs Frazier, Bird vs Magic, Tyson vs everyone else, and of course Brady vs Manning and Manning . Although being Patriots fan for close to 50 years where we were supposed to hate the Mannings, I know they are truly great folks and both bring so much to football in this role.
We’re not gonna see anything like the Brady-Manning rivalry again In the NFL for a long time and that makes me sad. I’ve been a Patriots fan my whole life but I respect these two guys a lot
Brady make it look easy, not everyone can handle the pressure when you team is loosing and only few seconds left, he show many times he loves and can handle those situations that's why he is the GOAT
I like how at 2:44 when Brady changes the play and/or reads the defense and sets some adjustments, that even Peyton saw something off too. Shows you how great their minds were at that QB position.
I really think Brady's 3rd down capabilities are what made him the GOAT. If it was 3rd and reasonable and he had good weapons there's nobody I'd trust more.
