@@alejandrorevilla2948 not everyone bruh, streaming exists. My roommate and i split sunday ticket and half the games were blacked out, total rip off never buying again without team packages
Then when the salary cap goes down and your team now have to release or cant pay your players..cause all the money have to pay back cause yall broke and cant pay to watch football
@@avonwalker9067 Oh please, if they sold individual team packages for like $80 each they would probably make more money than they currently do with sunday ticket. Not to mention, sunday ticket sales have almost nothing to do with the salary cap compared to the broadcasting deals and sales of tickets to games. As a third note, if the salary cap went down it would just result in less expensive contracts for players, because every team still has to have the same number of players so the demand is the same. It wouldn't be the difference between keeping a player or cutting him.
@@donjuliangonzalez9530 Right? Apparently we're supposed to dump 50% of our earned money into consuming the NFL otherwise the teams will go bankrupt. What a joke lmao. You mean Davante Adams would have stayed with the Packers if I had just bought Sunday Ticket like a good consumer?
But Pat and the boys weren't you saying that once Roger steps into a court room he's so amazing and his presence is so world class that every judge would bend to his will? The judge would basically say "I have seen the light" and throw the case out because Roger G is as bright as the sun.
Yeah you aren’t an annoying person in real life. Its like these guys are running a show, trying to entertain people, and clearly exaggerate all the time. Shut up.
Just give us season ticket options, like a fixed amount for one team and you’re GUARANTEED to get all that teams games and then maybe another option for all teams with no black outs
I had the nfl ticket since 1994 and recently canceled direct TV and did not want to pay for a subscription with another service , I'm a Dolphin fan and really only watch them , so I went with nfl plus for 69. 99 because I work every Sunday and had to record anyway .... How do you sign up for the late suit ?
I live overseas and currently pay $220 for the ticket through DAZN. But I used to pay directv $300+ for over !0 years. I'm definitely watching this one closely
Good, so good to see the NFL bein held accountable for their BS. Why would I go to CBS n Fox if my team isn’t even playing on those channels 75% of the time
I agreed to pay for the product. So I accept that. But anyone who does not realize how much they overcharged and how they allowed DTV to monopolize the product should check the price tag on that package. It was absurd.
I'm in the minority here. For the number of games you get per week x 18 weeks and compare that to what you pay to attend a single game, sunday ticket is a bargain. It's not like you're paying $400 a week for sunday ticket. One game with a family will easily cost more than a season subscription.
Maybe this is just me, but 400 for the season isn't an unfair price. That's $22 a week for 8-10 games a week. A ticket to one game one time live is like $300
The reality is that it is EXTREMELY expensive and has kept going up on price. I'm sure if they have a reasonable price by volume, they still make a ton of 💰. Use to buy it, till it got out of hand.
i have an emial from youtube letting me know that i can pay $489 for sunday again this year! I would be ok with $200 or even $250 but damn near $500 is wild.. Just give me my team and redzone and id be happy.
Im good with 200 for the season. 100 for single team. Havent had it for 3 years. The last time had college rate i think 120 cuz wife went back her Masters😂
Pats clearly working hard to spin because he 1: doesn’t care if Sunday ticket is 5k, he can cover it easily. 2: can cover that kind of expense because the NFL and affiliated networks make him all his money and he won’t risk that even if it means protecting fans
What's dumb about of all this is the NFL could take a small amount of their $Billions of dollars in profits every year and fund the development of their own applications and streaming service that they could just sell themselves and drop Sunday ticket all together. Many fans would pay about the same price that Sunday tickets costs just be ensured they could watch all the games for the 1 team they follow, they could then add packages and add-ons for sports bars and others that might want more/multiple games at once. But they stick to these archaic blackout polices and exclusive games BS that no one wants...like seriously NFL just do it all yourself and drop all this other crap!!!!
If Sunday Ticket was 150$ wouldn't all or lot more NFL fans buy Sunday Ticket. Then make it were you can get one team for 80$. I think everyone would buy at least one of the deals. I feel like they would make more money. You just got to keep the one team price close to the price of the full Sunday Ticket. So people don't buy two or three teams for less than full price of Sunday Ticket. I guess that wouldn't really matter as long as they pay.
Maybe finally we’ll get a single team deal or a single team + prime time games cause sometimes the Sunday night games are worthwhile. The $400 for me to watch a game or two max a week put everyone I know on that “yo ho ho a pirates life for me” vibe. I guarantee with every ounce of my being that the RU-vid package didn’t get anywhere near the amount of purchases they were hoping with. Probably less every year to follow cause yeah most people aren’t watching more then a game or two a week and paying $400….just to put it into perspective to watch just your team to not make the playoff every week you will pay $25 dollars a game if you watch nothing else…which would by default make them the most expensive streaming option and it has the absolute lowest value to offer.
That's the whole point of the lawsuit. They made it so expensive it forced you to watch the Network games so they could boost the ratings and boost future deals. They can set the price to whatever they want, but they got caught conspiring to do this.
Jesus I would pay $5,000 for a full season. Why in the heck are people so cheap $500 for more or less every game for 18 weeks is basically 25 bucks a week. If you can't afford $25 a week you're either not a football fan or your priorities are clearly not the same as other football fans. Amazing
Not surprising, the whole reason the NFL wanted to keep Sunday Ticket prices high was to drive traffic to CBS and Fox, who pay them billions to show games. No CBS or Fox in Europe.
Dear NFL: "You Are A PLATFORM" - You need to have ALL Of The Games visible to everyone every Sunday . . . Imagine if an online video game platform wouldn't let you play it because, "You Are Out Of State" - Ridiculous . . . Whether it's for Fantasy Football, Gambling, or just Football Fandom, we need to see All Of The Games.

There would be no need for piracy if the NFL let people watch all the games for their favorite team wherever they are in the country at a fair price. Until that day, hoist the black flags mateys!
Won't considering there was never a time in the history of the NFL where you are allowed to watch every game of your local team if you lived within 3 hours in a game wasn't sold out, now we have that option. Sorry but I will gladly pay that much in 10 times more than that
This is strange, the decision will for sure be appealed for ever a private business can set price. I wonder why lawyers if they looking for a cash grab why not make a class action on betting companies and leagues if players are found to throw games or player props, that seems lika a very easy win in comparison
"We LOVE the sunday ticket!" Says the millionaire. I'd be willing to subscribe at a reasonable price but $70 a month to watch 1 game a week is insane. So happy the nfl is about to get spanked for their greed. These billionaires have made the people who helped and supported the whole thing foot the bill. Just red an article after the lions gave jared goff that massive deal season tickets doubled
What about Amazon prime games and then games on peacock? It’s basically old school cable company tactics now. Oh yeah and now RU-vid lol. Getting crazy
I bought Sunday ticket last season with the student discount. Still had to resort to watching illegal streams to watch the games I wanted since my team played a lot of prime time games and had a lot in market. I should have checked the schedule before buying but this year I'm just gonna stick to illegal streams.
To be honest, if the NFL did away with all the network deals and simply charged 80 to 90 dollars per season to watch your team's games, I bet they'd make much more money. Then have a 200-250 dollar option to get every team. I've personally been pirating games for the last 3 seasons, but if I could watch every Steelers game for a single 90 dollar fee, I'd gladly.
I sometimes can't stand the commentary, then just watch Ravens games on mute & listen to music, pipe in one hand, controlling the mouse with the other.
ESPN ur next Wisconsin vs Minn on abc in VA it was on ESPN in Wisconsin Va vs VA Tech abc in Wisconsin on ESPN in VA?out of marketing rigging to force u to get ESPN locally.😂
The only time I purchased the Sunday Ticket was about 7-8 years ago they had a $99 special for college students. They went right back up to like $299 or something ridiculous the following season
They can't take it to a ppv model. It would eliminate half the modern game. Think about all the TV timeouts, commercial revenue, and other advert income they would lose in a ppv broadcast. The cost of the ppv to replace that would have to be HIGHLY inappropriate because there's no way the NFL sponsors are gonna start paying the difference.
I and anyone else who wasn't so incredibly stupid to pay these inflated prices should get the money from the lawsuit for missing out on watching our favorite teams. If you thought the prices were fair and paid them that's your own fault.
i pay hundreds every season to try and watch all games legally, and STILL end up pirating games because it’s so impossible to watch some games with the “out of state, out of network” crap
@@mick58kc72 it speaks to the failure of their overlapping services that even trying to do it the right way and pay for them it’s just not possible to see the games. thank god for stream east honestly lmao.
Fr. Had to do actual research to see if I'd be able to watch a specific game, and still get screwed because Fox would air a cowboys game instead of "America's Game Of The Week"
