It is played professionally in Germany. It's not played the level of the NFL, but there is a lot of professional teams there. Rhein, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, Stuttgart of the ELF plus the GFL.

Talking about the ELF as a "professional" league is pure bullshit. They have five guys on each roster (Import players from NCAA division II or III), who can live from their salary for a couple of months in summer, but 90 percent of the guys are nothing but amateurs, same as in the GFL. The budget of a ELF team (including travelling costs, game organization and staff) is around 700 000 to 800 000 Euros/season, which equals Oberliga soccer (fifth division) in Germany. Would you call Oberliga soccer professional?

Even the GLF and ELF call themself semi professional. Most players don't get payed at all and for most players it is a hobby. They made a few steps into the right direction but are still far away from becoming professional. More NFL games could maybe help this process.

For those of you who don’t follow the NFL, crowd noises make the players more excited, of course, but when the crowd doesn’t really understand the game it can make it harder for them to play on offense because they can’t hear the quarterback giving last minute instructions. When they play at their home stadium the fans are quieter during offense and then louder when the opposing team is on offense. I’m not sure how this will translate, but I hope it helps. Enjoy the game! I’ll be here in Connecticut, US watching it at 9am EST.

Und so wie ich das gehört habe sollen wohl auch ein paar Amerikaner nach Deutschland geflogen sein 🤷‍♂️ und schon deshalb ein anderes Publikum als bei Bayern spielen 👍da München leider zu weit weg ist habe ich keine Ahnung wie es gerade dort football 🏈 mäßig aussieht. Möchte einfach das es als ein großer Erfolg gewertet wird so dass nach Frankfurt noch weitere Deutschland Spiele hinzukommen 🙏 und das kommt wahrscheinlich bei einer normalen Stimmung eher nicht in Frage 🤔🤷‍♂️ Und bisher hat mal halt nur die Bayern Spiele als Referenz und die ist halt wie beschrieben eher mäßig 👍hoffen wir das beste ! 🙏
