Talk about Kardashian: Skip: "did she go 8-5 with 12 TDs and 6 interceptions?" Stephen A. :" if you're looking at the category that I'm looking at, she's 12-0!!" LMAO!!! Haha Stephen A got it!!
5 years later Broncos defense is a monster and the Broncos got to two superbowls and won one with Peyton manning and the jets are by far the worst franchise in the NFL and yes it is skips fault
@Nebula he was better than McElroy that year. He couldn't pass very well. But he could pass decently in certain situations and could run well. I'm just saying most qbs who go 9-7 their 1st full year as a starter get to start the next year. He didn't get that chance.
Yeah he was...mostly because he misjudged Rex. Rex was a complete moron for not giving Tebow a shot. Now personally I think it would’ve failed, but I would’ve let him if I were Denver and had him learn from Manning
In 2012 Skip Bayless was crazy and Stephen A Smith was very quiet until Present or after Skip left Stephen A Smith acts like Skip Bayless before Skip left.
Hello from the future. Just to let you know, Tim Tebow will never start in another NFL game. He will go play AA baseball and not be very good. He will then try to return to the NFL as a tight end for the Jaguars but not be able to make the team. Thanks for your time enjoy your primitive lives 🖖🏾
SAS doesn't forget anything YOU say lol. I already knew he was setting Skip for the kill once he said I'm glad YOU asked that Question @ 16:46 and when he responded back with "SO THE JETS" I started LOL 😂😂
Wow, I look at Stephan A. Through a new light. He’s actually a great analyst. One of the few people who said Baker was the best QB for Cleveland to draft. All though I still have faith in Sam Darnold and think he’s the QB for the next decade, with the New York Jets. But would not have been for the Cleveland Browns. Granted Tebow never got a start in New York, it absolutely all was a gimmick and a media move. And then Michael Vick. Rex Ryan just loved attention.
Its 2024 and this clip came in my suggestion list to watch. Ohhh how i miss the golden era of First Take. Skip. Stephen A, and Jay were so entertaining. Especially on certain subjects. Tim Tebow juiced their program every time. Hilariously good.
God, nobody in my life has ever believed in me the way Skip believes/believed in Tebow. Either something is wrong with the people I know, or something is wrong with *ME*
I remember watching this segment and all of the histrionics from Skip and Stephen A and thinking "Tim Tebow will never start for another NFL team, the Jets brought him in to either play another position or run the Wild Cat or something." Was I psychic or a football genius? No. Everyone in their right mind knew that. And watching these two yelling and screaming over nothing was funny back then...and even funnier with hindsight...
Was he on drugs during this Era... The man just said Tebow was under a bigger microscope than Bron in high school!!!! Bron was a football player and basketball player! All american on both! Hummer in high school pulling up to the projects and Tebow had more scrunity lmao
I can't believe First Take has degraded so much in the recent years. You can clearly watch how Molly ruins any debate nowadays with her interruptions. This was definitely peak First Take!
I honestly think Tebow would've done well if Rex Ryan would've come to his senses and started Tebow when Sanchez played some of the worst quarterbacking I've ever seen
As circus-like as the jets were (still are) they were a better organization at the time than the jags. Remember just two seasons before this the jets were in back-to-back AFC championship games. I think Tebow saw this as a great marketing opportunity too. But someone must've promised him he'd get a good shot at the starting job. Tebow always said he wanted to be a starting qb and the jets had backed sanchez since they drafted to this point. So it didn't make sense on either part. But it made more sense than the jaguars. Yeah, it was close to home and he would've been the starter, but the jags were in nfl purgatory at that time. I don't think Tebow wanted any part of that. He took a risk and it backfired. But i get it if they had promised him certain things.
When Skip is into someone he will really inflate his perception of what they are and their abilities. And vice versa if he doesn't like them. But when you have a fairly logical person who isn't afraid to speak sitting across from him it makes for good tv lol.
Smh this should definitely be #1 on the list of things Skip got wrong. Rex did sabotage Tebow because Tebow embarrassed him that night Skip is talking about. Sheesh that started the Down fall of Rex with the Jets in my opinion.
I genuinely don't understand why Tebow, a fabulous athlete, would choose to utilize such poor footwork and throwing mechanics, unworthy of a HS QB, as opposed to simply using a fluid throwing motion to deliver a football on time and accurately? Like what was he thinking and why did he decide to be so putrid and conplete 48% of his career passes ? Why do that ?
Well his last start he lost 45-10 and then he never got a start at the jets, Patriots or eagles because coaches knew that he was horrible in practice and would not be the guy to take you to the next level long term
Tim Tebow was always a well below average QB with marginal skills at best. Skip tried his best to Manufacture him into a starting QB and it was an all-time epic failure of a prediction by Skip
