The t80 has controller mode so it will act as a normal controller and play any game that another wheel doesn’t support this is a great feature THIS IS HOW IT WORKS t80 users so while you plug in your thrust master t80 you hold the ps button on the wheel then plug it in that should make it for controller mode it works for any game such as nfs 2015 I don’t know about heat tho
The t80 racing wheel can be used on any game if you hold on the ps button and plug it in this wheel supports any game if you do this the t80 racing wheel also supports need for speed heat I have this wheel and I play need for speed heat with it
Matthew Alanis I should have put that information in the video I have another video on payback showing how to use the paddle shifters and I think I talk about sensitivity in that video. I always play on the flashing red setting. Orange green and solid red just don’t control the car right. Way to touchy.
I'm just gonna throw this out there, I'm happy people are trying to help others by showing working wheel setups for NFS Heat. HOWEVER...Not a single one of you deserve to have to go out of your way to do this bullshit. Fucking EA and their monkey teams should have clearly seen this lack of wheel support as a huge problem. I had to refund my $70 Deluxe copy of Heat because my T150 (an extremely common and basic setup) does not work on the PC version and all the keybinds are basically unusable from menu up/down = brake pedal, right paddle shifter = gas, left paddle shifter = brake, and the steering deadzone of a cruiseship. Not only that, but the game doesn't even detect the actual buttons for reconfiguration, let alone provide any possible advanced adjustable settings. It's actually un-fucking-believable that they would put out a racing game in 2019 that DOESN'T support proper wheel setups even when NFS 2015 did along with all of the classic NFS games back even in the late 90's and early 2000's.It's stupid, lazy, and honestly unforgivable...they're so fucking retarded to not provide this basic ass racing game requirement. Like yo...I'm not spending $70 on a racing game I'm gonna be forced to play on my keyboard when I have $200 wheel set that works perfectly on basically any other game. Sorry for the rant, but this really killed my excitement for what I thought would be a lot of fun but royally pissed me off instead.
Brother you are more than right!! I said this same thing in a need for speed forum on Facebook and they almost chopped off my fingers. Apparently it doesn’t bother as many people as is should have. You have all the right in the world to rant and to feel the way you do. A racing game coming out nowadays without wheel support is the same thing as putting fries in cold grease. Honestly if I didn’t buy the digital copy I probably would have returned it to. I learned my lesson with heat that I can no longer buy nfs title at launch. 😢 It’s sad that I have to say that about one of my favorite game titles. Thank you for a solid input! You are not alone.
Whoever decided to release this game without wheel support SHOULD BE FIRED from Ghost/EA. I sort of have my G920 "working" with it on a PC with the X362CE utility, but precision control is problematic, to say the least. FIRED FULLY! They would rather make shoes, hats, and official PS4 controllers. I thought this was a racing game! Keep pushing for the ultimate fix. Stay tuned in I found a fix for the G29 on console with a adapter. It’s not ideal to spend money on a game just to make it work properly but on the adapter i have a script I made for download that has fixed the ffb and uses gear 3 and 4 to shift up and down and gear 6 is the ebrake. Deadzone and sensitivity has been altered as well.
I have the T80, steering wheel works but my pedals just go 100% throttle. They have no gradual response even if I press it the lightest I can? Any help?

Plug the usb to the port on the PS4. Close the application. And then press the ps4 button on your wheel . It should bring you to the log in screen, click your account then open the game. It works fine for my game. Only problem is with the pedals

hi, i want to ask i have a steering wheel: thrustmaster t80 ps4 and i have it for 3 days and they find this day it started to turn me out of nowhere just when I hold the throttle and I don't touch the steering wheel it turns a bit, you don't know what to do with it? I also tried to disconnect and plug in, what about that?

Yes the G29 at the beginning of the video is far better than the T80 I use in the demonstration. At first I just used the wheel to cruise around and would use the remote to do my racing. Now I never touch the remote.

Manny Groovy I am big on these companies taking our money and screwing us over. I’m honestly leaning towards PC at the moment. Consoles have advanced way to far for the limitations the consumers are given. I had never heard of the crew before then I seen the crew2 previews and I wants drawn in right away. So before the new game was released I bought the original crew and never got past the menu screen. After talking with Ubisoft personal the were asking me to take down my firewall on my network in order to play online. I never bought crew 2 and probably will never buy another game from the company on console. Sorry for the blah blah. I just don’t think we as drivers don’t get the focus we need on racing games. But let it be COD or GTA5. New updates all the time. The crew however does look like it has far better physics than nfs. I can’t say it for sure though. As far as your setup. This may be a crazy question but is it working with other games? And does it let you turn left at all?
Stuntmanjdm preach man , the physics are better but it’s just not as smooth as I would like it to Be , and the only two game I tried were heat and the crew the steering wheel works as a remote control too , and yes it lets me turn , it just doesn’t have no tension , I have to keep moving the steering wheel every time I turn which sucks , it doesn’t have that tension that controller analogs have
Manny Groovy on need for speed the game will tell you if it’s a wheel or a remote. Let me kno how the game is registering your wheel. Also my Logitech G29 is a force feedback wheel and it will do some functions through the USB cord even if I don’t have power going to it from the wall. Not sure if the t150 had a extra power source or not but check and see if it’s plugged in. It could be a simple thing worth a try. Lmk I’m still looking into this. Hopefully we get it.
Unfortunately I no longer have the wheel and can't remember how I had the setup. I take it you already have your wheel correct? If yes my next question is do you already own heat?
On the first rig at the very beginning of the video I had the g-force 6-speed shifter that comes with the Logitech package. The shifter on the 2nd thrustmaster t-80 rig was handmade using some plastic and metal scraps. That switch at the bottom of the shifter does all of the button press action. I have moved to real car sequentials over the years. They can really take a beating!
Does a trustmaster t150 wheel support nfs heat. When nfs payback came out there was a update on 31 december with wheelsupport. Is there coming a update with wheelsupport on the same date as nfs payback?
There are so many hopes that it will happen just like payback. At least I hope so because I want the wheel community to enjoy the games full potential. It’s fun with the remote but once you beat the game it’s nice to cruise online.

I bought the adapter early last year and couldn’t find a use for it. I had to play with it. But the my settings are for download on the gtuner website. Try this and see if it works on 2015. If it works let me kno if the paddles work. If not I have another video that may help that issue as well. With the console on unplug the T-80 from your PlayStation. Now hold down the PS button on the wheel and at the same time plug the wheel back into the PlayStation. This step may require two people if the wheel is far from your console. It will make the console read the wheel differently.
This was my startup wheel. These things should be no more than 40 bucks. Extremely cheap. That little baby got the job done for a while. Had to step it up just a bit and get something with FFB.
Alex Nonas t150 is a FFB wheel if I’m not mistaken. In order to use the FFB wheels you will need an adapter. I have my g29 on PS4 now and it’s force feedback. You need a device called “cross hair” adapter. I have a Titan two but I had to write the script and button map myself.

There has to be some type of file or program to download. I unfortunately don't have heat for the PC so I cant dive in head first like I wish I could. There are a number of simulator groups on Facebook. The only thing that sucks is waiting for your requests to be accepted but it definitely pays off. I have found some super helpful post in the handful of groups Im in.
Adrian Hernandez jr yes it will. I still think they need to work out some things in the game because they gave us crappy half finished wheel support. If they would give us the option to assign our own in game buttons the wheel setups will be far better for everyone’s own individual taste. I have not touched this game in over a week. I will not play it until they fully finish it. If they ever do. But the T150 made it to the update list in January so you should be fine to use it. Side note: if you use a wheel you can’t look around your vehicle or surroundings so you will have to keep a remote near you at all times. And make sure you start the game with the wheel then power your remote on once in the game.
I have a problem, whenever I’m looking at my calibration results, I turn a tiny bit to the right and it turns fully left to negative when it is supposed to be positive, it also happens when I turn left. So when I’m playing a game with my normal t80, when I turn little left it goes right but when I turn fully left it goes back to left it is also the same when I do it when I turn right. I rlly need help with this plz help me. also, I play on PS4
Jetrix Blaze Unplug the T-80 from your PlayStation. Now hold down the PS button on the wheel and at the same time plug the wheel back into the PlayStation. This step may require two people if the wheel is far from your console. Let me kno if you can control the game now. It may still be hard to turn no worries we have one more step to do. I just want to make sure this fixes the first issue.
syed nadeem bro the t80 is far better I will not lie I’m even kind of getting good at drifting with a wheel. I currently have a 99$ fix for ffb wheels as well you have to purchase a adapter but I have a couple custom map settings I am posting on Gtuners website for free download. New video coming very soon! I’m no longer using the t80 but it worked wonders for me!
Read the description for the switch detail in the video of the link I posted below. You can pick the handbrake switch up for around 5 to 10 bucks at auto-zone, advanced auto parts, Lowe’s, or Home Depot. I had a autozone shifter and inside I have a ink pen pressed on top of the switch. Switch it for metal pipe and tapped it with electrical. Way better feel now. New video coming for the G29. @@1990rexyB18A1 My Wheel is the Hori Apex (RWA) and there are 3 modes, PS4-N, PS4-S and PS3, but if I can play on PS4-S, that would be really nice because than you can steer much better than in the PS4-N mode. PS4-N is a mode that the PS4 recognizes it as a DualShock 4 controller, but the PS4-S mode is that the PS4 recognizes it as a wheel. But the problem is, I can play in PS4-N mode with the wheel (then you have delay on that mode) and in PS4-S it will steer very nice, but I can't play in PS4-S mode. I am making the video today how I did this one I just have to tear it apart again. Which is fine because I have been wanting to make some adjustments. all the ones that are on RU-vid require soldering to the circuit board and I was not about to try after my first attempt using a remote. I smoked that thing! This video I will install a nitrous button as well if space allows me to.
I'm not sure what you are asking here. I will try to answer tho. The shifter is home made and the button presses have been sauterd into the circuit board.
No if you solder directly to the circuit board of the t80 you not need any type of adapter. I have found a way to have the shifter button box and handbrake to work wirelessly with both PS4 and Xbox 1. Video is in the works now. This method will involve a small button converter box for about $100.
so this old wheel works on Need for speed heat? does it work on Rivals and all the games need for speed up until heat? Does it work on forza horizon 4?
So far I can confirm it works on need for speed heat and need for speed payback and 2015 but I'm not sure about rivals I have never played it. Yes it does work on Forza horizon 4 but you have to buy a converter the cronusmax and titan two are just a few of many options. I used the titan two for my T80 and now it's allowing me to use a playstation Logitech g29 on Forza horizon 4. No force feed back tho. I'm working on that slowly but it's harder than I was expecting.

I'm pretty sure that need for speed heat would support it I don't know about payback but I remember 3 months after release of need for speed heat the actual need for speed website posted a update of all the wheels they support in game. The T80 doesn't have FFB but the G29 does.

When I put the pedal down all the way it doesn’t give as much throttle as it would when holding down the trigger on my controller. I just got my thrustmaster so I know it’s not broken. It has to be adjusted in the game. Help pls...
Yes sir you will have to purchase a converter box if you are on console. What do you play with? PlayStation Xbox or PC? All options have different ways to do it. I use the same setup between all three with just the change of two USBs and one button press. I will help you every step of the way.
The converter box is around $100 on ebay it's called the titan two. I have scripts already made out for a couple games as well. Are you decent working with computer program?
There is also another option you could go with. This is what I have done on my second rig. I went into the wheel and soldered into the paddle shifters and the b button on the circuit board of the g923 for Xbox.

Unfortunately I can't confirm due to never owning a T150 but I can try to do some searching for ya. I honestly believe it would due to the t80 working but I also know the t150 is ffb which nfs has sadly been hit or miss on. It worked well with my g29 on ps4 but the g923 for xbox was a no go. What do you play on? xbox ps or pc?
By looking at your steering it doesn’t seem to have feedback...I see you have to put the car straight..not the car putting you straight..in a game with proper wheel support after you make a turn the wheel should want to go back to center on its own...I didn’t notice that on your video.
You are correct this is my t80 set up with no force feedback. However the set up I showed at the very beginning of the video is a g29 and has ffb. At the time of this video it wasn’t working but with the new update it is working for everyone.
It should play most racing games with no issues at all. Need for speed Heat game me a scare but they finally added support to the game. GT sport, dirt4, project cars 1 and 2. Nfs2015 and payback as well. It has a ps3/PS4 switch and I have used it for Nfs the run on ps3. Are you looking into purchasing a setup or do you already have the T80?

Dago Camarena Not a problem. Just a heads up Need for Speed Heat is a pretty game and the customization is there. But the physics are not hitting on a thing at all. The T80 made it all possible for me to grow. Don’t let it get you down at first. I was getting smoked and found myself crusin with the wheel and racing with the remote. Over a year later and I do not touch my remote. And best game to me honestly is Forza horizon 4 on xbox. And even tho it’s not open world GT sport is my favorite on PS4. The graphics are great the cockpit view is amazing! Over all it just feels way more realistic than most games.
Start by turning the playstaion completely off. Make sure the T80 switch on the wheel is switched from PS3 to PS4 then plug the wheel in and power the PlayStation with the power button on the console. You the wheel to select PS profile and the game. Do not turn your remote on until you are inside the game. Pretty much just making the steering wheel the primary remote for the console.
No sir no pc! You are talking about the ebrake and shifter mod correct? If so I have a how to video on the channel as well. As long as you have the t80. I am even in the process of making wireless button box’s for console as well. Stay tuned in this year I hope to help as many people as I can build a cheap yet decent driving set up.
If you use this method I don't see why they wouldn't. I can confirm but it may take a while my PS4 setup is down due to bedroom restoration. I have been on Xbox religiously lately.
We shouldn't have to do this and it seems absolutely ridiculous but I have seen one person say that multiple times of resetting the application made his T80 work.

This is a old one I bought at GameStop years ago and converted on my own. I know this isn’t ideal but try holding the PS button down on your wheel while plugging in the USB from the T80 into the PlayStation4. It may require two people depending on how far your set up is from your console. The center light in the middle of the wheel will either be solid or begin to start flashing. Repeat the steps again if you want to go back to the different mode on the wheel. There are two modes. If this works for you I will help you with the sensitivity next.

Dorian SmokCraq when I first brought this game home I could not use this wheel. Now I can. In my defense i do say that “it’s kind of here” and also state that ffb wheels do not work. Since this video I have found two adapters that bypass this issue. I’m sliding corners on PS4 with a Logitech g29 ffb setup.

Carnagetheklown Mr carnagetheklown This is the best way to show you. It’s all makeshift parts. The shift knob is from my g29 when I upgraded that. Buts it’s screwed in on top of a ink pen. The handbrake is another ink pen wrapped in electrical tape with an AutoZone Shift knob. I have upgraded the whole set up since this video.

Cookie Vanilla Unfortunately not full support because you have to keep your remote beside you to bring up the map. That is unless you purchase a Titan two or crosshair adapter. I currently have the T2 but I’m thinking about buying a crosshair for future RU-vid videos.
Cookie Vanilla in game play is well worth it. I have won every race since I have a started using the wheel so it’s not like it hurt the gameplay or anything. When you plug in your wheel make sure you are holding down the ps button at the same time. This will put your wheel in a sensitivity mode and the the solid red light will start blinking. Now you should be good to go!
young roro yes!! So much more control for a realistic feel. Now don’t get me wrong the drifting part of it isn’t the best and I would recommend a remote for the events. But just to slide around the city the wheel makes it awesome. And I can race my opponents on hard even with the wheel. I thought it was going to slow down my track times but they have actually gotten better.

You just never know how rough someone is with things. And this thing is nothing but plastic. Over the time I have had mine the play in the wheel has gotten pretty sloppy.
They finally added wheel support with the update on the 28th of last month. However have you noticed when using the wheel you can no longer look left and right?? How can we check the traffic before we turn? I had it all fixed and working long before the update but I took the video down to make it better. I fixed the camera view and made the map easier to use. Even fixed the g force shifter to shift up and down cause some cars on the game have more than 6 gears.
StankyFishy You are correct they are not thinking things through. They are rushing things and not taking all the real drivings parts serious. This was more of a clout type game. I don’t care what my character looks like when he will be inside the car 99% of the game. On the other hand there is a fix for $99 and adapter called the Titan to and I have a script on their website for download that will make the game even more enjoyable. The download is free and I make no money off of it whatsoever I have no affiliation with the company.

StankyFishy I totally agree however I didn’t purchase the adapter for this game I actually bought it a year and some change ago so I can use my PlayStation wheels with my Xbox 1. But in my spare time I have went back and fixed up a couple of games like need for speed 2015 and burn out paradise remastered as well as project cars one and two. It also lets me use keyboard and mouse on Console and I can use a steering wheel and a remote at the same time
I just plugged in the T80 and it started working. (This wheel did not work when I first brought the game home at launch) The FFB is what’s giving us trouble and just the other day I got my g29 to work on PS4 the steering input is just pretty laggy. No wheel support in the last update yet Im still wondering why my T80 works now??
Emanuel Buford I don’t think it’s possible to use the map with the wheel. I would just keep a remote beside me and use the map that way. It will suck but you get used to it pretty fast. Either that or you can purchase a button mapper and map the touch pad button to the wheel. I finally broke down and bought a Titan two device but I heard the cross hair is even better. I had to write my own script and remap for the T2 but the crosshair seems to be plug and play.
Noah Msouty You should just be able to update the game as of the 28th of last month. The need for speed update had some need wheel support added. I have a special video coming out showing a whole bunch of special features with the Logitech G29.
アフドサムソン no you shouldn’t need an adapter for the T80. There are 2 people in the comments so far that have had luck with the same setup. One guy was having problems with his pedals not working. I’m not sure why they aren’t though it’s a mystery. If the wheel isn’t working try unplugging the wheel the while holding down the ps button on the wheel plug in the usb to the PlayStation. If your console is far this will require two people. The wheel should either blink or go solid. I have noticed one say it works while the red light is solid another said it works while the light is flashing.
You will not be able to select the map with the wheel so you will have to keep a remote by you at all times. It’s annoying but playing with the wheel is far more fun!
alfxie OK this is gonna sound complicated there are two different modes on the wheel one where it registers as a remote and one where it registers as the wheel. If it’s flashing you are in sensitivity mode there are three types of sensitivity red being the loosest turning then orange which tightens up things a bit and green which should make the car turn on a dime. To get this light to flash green on my wheel at least I had to pull back on both left and right paddle shifters at the same time while pressing the down button on the wheel.

Jeidenn3023 LOL I hate to waste your time but make sure the light is blinking. Then turn off your PlayStation and manually turn it on by hand. Then press the ps button on the wheel. The ps should recognize the wheel as a remote. You don’t have your left and right sticks flipped in button assignments either correct? Thought I would ask.
David I I wish man. I’ve have only gotten 1 force feedback wheel (Logitech G29) to work so far on HEAT but that is with me using a Titan Two adapter on PS4 but the input is extremely laggy.
Elmo 5123 Hold the PS button on the wheel while plugging in the USB into the PlayStation 4 the center light should go from solid to flashing. You should be good to use it now.
Omar not without spending around $100 bucks at the moment I have currently found a fix but it involves using a adapter. I’m working on the video at the moment it will be uploaded by tonight or early tomorrow. If you have the g force shifter attachment then I have a special button map as well you will have a +/- shifter as well as a functional ebrake using the sixth gear.
Omar Yes sir as long as RU-vid will allow me to I will post the link to the adapter as well as the website and the name to search once you get everything installed.(The adapter will not fix the issue without downloading my script from Gtuner) The video will be as detailed as I can make it. I have also enabled force feedback on the Logitech G29. You can feel the difference from the transition of dirt to asphalt as well as when you hit poles and a tug when the gas is pressed. A tad bit of wheel slippage is felt as well.
