Another video done after several hours of recording and editing. I already showed all the speed traps and speed runs here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ivErB5hgpvQ.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jvX6VZmgsTc.html Only the jumps are missing now and I will try to show those as well before the end of the month.
+dannyx27 I use automatic and the default live settings. You can get higher scores with manual and custom settings but for getting 3 stars in all drift zones it's not necessary.
I really don't understand why devs don't just disable traffic during these challenges. All it does is add RNG. When I finally beat a challenge after multiple attempts I don't feel like it's my own skill that improved, rather I just finally got lucky enough that the game didn't decide to spawn a random car right in my path. It was bad enough in the speed challenges but it's far worse in the drift ones as you usually need to use the whole road.
I have to say most of the drifts are ridiculously difficult. I just got platinum and I’m not even happy anymore, the drifts were so shitty I just feel like I‘ve wasted hours of my life for a crappy game
You are the real MVP of these aweful activites. Good concisely made and useful videos without the commentary. Exactly what I and probably many others wanted when looking up how to beat those last few.
I just reached 3 stars in all activities in this game, for those struggling in drift trials, you just need to maintain speed and always in the curves use the normal brake, not the hand one, just press it and then use the left stick from from left to right during all the curve or the contrary, it depends if the curve is left or right, but you'll get it eventually, this helps the multiplier to work faster, you can use any car at level 300+, but for you guys who really are having a hard time I recommend Mazda RX-7 Spirit R in level 399 with full chidori build, this will give you more control of the brakes and more acceleration. In my opinion drift activities were easier than I thought, for me, speedruns were the hardest, It was very difficult to maintain speed and also to not crash with other cars, just stupid traffic, but for those, just use Regera in race class, other than that, speed traps and jumps were very easy too, and you can use race Regera for these too, it is just the fastest car in the game, cheers from Brazil.
@@phioos Por nada, bro, o drift é tranquilo, vout e mandar um vídeo de um br que me ajudou muito: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ddqKFT1nX8I.html&ab_channel=LgGames
The best car for this is the RX7. Why? Because the RX7 offers corner CONTROL. The Lambo in this video and many others (top power cars) are unreliable when it comes to corner stability: sometimes too oversteering and sometimes too understeering. The RX7 is a less powerful car but it slides superbly thus you can control the drift. Setup: - Buy a RX7 from the Drift Dealership - Buy the Level-16 Catch Up pack. This places the RX7 Drift Level at 367. - Live Setup: Angle = Full "More" (oversteering) / Weight Distribution = 2 below top front / Handbrake = None
Spot on input and in detail as for the set up buddy. Thanks alot! So how about the way to use the controls? Manual or auto? Is there a way you tell us how you tap buttons in detail? Thanks in advance
@@ThatZombieChannel I am the kind of person that prefers Manual all the time because of the torque control and engine-braking that offers. Sadly, this game is so unrealistic when it comes to corners that this approach is not effective at all. I only find manual gearbox useful when offroading. For drifting we have kind of the same problem, since the drifting mechanics are way odd, manual gearbox is going to give you some setback.
thanx for the tips i really aprecciate, i was trying to do the drift zones with the m5 all maxed out with no luck at all. until i changed to the huracan and only maxed out all braking and handling , thanx you got another subbed
I really admire you for not shrinking back in these enormous amount of jobs in the mini events of this game. But I have to ask one thing, may you consider writing a article about your own criticism/review of Payback? If only Origin has a similar review system to the one in Steam. Despite that, I still hope you could put it in a video description, or in your blog or something.
Thank you for this video! I just got my platinum trophy. I wasn't nearly as good as you on most of these Drift Zones, however this video was still very helpful.
Awesome! If you ever want to do Need for Speed Heat, I made the same type of videos for that game as well. ru-vid.com/group/PLlk-blXREIdhK6xyIhAp5fChzZwT95gJQ
Great video! FINALLY 3 starred all last night after failing for over a month & thinking it was impossible for me. BEST ADVICE I can give: 1. Use the Hurucan and get really used to it by driving it from drift trial to drift trial. This way you practice with and without traffic. NO Fast travel. 2. Don't just copy someone else's live tuning or speed cards. Make your own adjustments based on your own driving style. You will be driving ALOT. 3. Go fast and take really wide turns for more points. Don't handbrake. Tap or hold brakes and lighly wiggle the controls left and right during the drift so you gain control. Boost before and after turns to keep multiplier and by not hitting walls. 4. Don't give up. I almost did after many many weeks of banging my head into a concrete wall. The physics of it will come to you eventually. Just takes a lot of practice. Sorry I couldn't find a way to cheese this.
Try using the Huracan fully Upgraded with accelaration perks and change the settings to Manual, after this, you can do any drift zone in third or second gear, depending of terrain. This was my set up for achieving all the drifts zones, and also, for off road terrains use the Bel Air, same set up, this way the car is much more driveable.
You make it look so damn easy I been busting tail for this damn drift zones but it's always traffic or hit walls n so on. Just need to complete all drift zones for platinum. I guess I must suck at drifting.
Renan Martins Haha Omg bro i was watching this video 2 times, i was missing 1 drift challenge then i saw your comment and checked it out , that was the missing one LOL
Gr8 video bro! ...this guy gets more points off accident...then I get on purpose...lol I wish you were my brother/BFF...lol That way, I wouldn't even have to stress about these things!
The last i make form the other side God Damm 1k more Point as needed thanks man for Show me lambo is best Drift car now i look the other in Speed Trap Speed run und Jumps by you
Finally did it Mazda RX7. Drifting in this game was really difficult compared to any other NFS games. For people who are trying to get 3 stars, use handbrake a lot
I watched this video to help me, but I've been doing these for 7 hours and I'm just getting more fucking infuriated cuz this video makes it look so God damned easy
Offroad it feels rather awkward to be honest but it was good enough to get 3 stars, so I didn't try anything else. Maybe an Offroad car would be better though. Not sure.
Thanks for this series of videos dude. Very helpful in just finding the spots in some sort of logical order, to work through. The map is a mess in this game. Why they didn't put a toggle option so you can turn icons off the map, to just the thing you are working on is a bit lazy. But then again they didn't even put a option to return to the home load screen? Everytime I quit I have to go to MP to make sure it has saved everything.
I really appretiate the effort that went into this video, however the massive jumping around in location makes it a hassle to watch. Sorry for my rash assumption but i doubt it would've been too much effort (compared to the effort this video took to begin with) to sequence the clips so they take place in roughly the same area edit: just noticed you sorted them by points needed for 3 stars...fair enough, but in terms of a tutorial-like video showing all zones I would still prefer sorting by location it's not like I'm asking for "THE SPEEDRUN LINE" just...something to ease the pain of getting them all (I feel like a real ass for criticising a video with such good initial intentions)
I actually even put in extra effort to show the zones in a particular order instead of just randomly. They are sorted by the score that is required for 3 stars, so I first show the smaller ones and then the biggest ones at the end. Of course there are also other possibly ways to sort them but I could only choose one. And I don't really see how my order is bad if you just want to watch the video. It sounds more like you actually tried to visit every single zone yourself while watching the video? In that case I can see how it might be a hassle but that was not really the intention. I assumed that most viewers would have already found most of the zones on their own (since that happens naturally when you play through the story), so that they would only be missing a few of them and not all of them. I didn't think that people would be starting at 0 and would need my video for every single zone. Anyway, I am sorry that the video was inconvenient for you but this is what I had in mind with it.
Now I know why I rage quitted this game multiple times, often because of the hazard company races, the streetracers and now these fucking test, especially these drift tests
This is nowhere near as hard as I thought it would be once I got myself a Hurrucan and upgraded it. At 371 with optimum specs I was able to destroy the drift challenges besides about 3 which were very challenging.
Hi, can you advise the card sets and the best perks you have used for this? I am struggling in the second drift, how did you get to initially make drift without hitting the right wall and make stable all way till the U-turn.
Would be nice to know what speed-cards and live-settings do you use. btw: wtf is wrong with "Keep On Drifting"? Always when I'm near the end (nearly here at 5:07) it triggers the startpoint and my points are gone.
Whe this game came out free for ps plus, did try to do it, and had hard time in all you need is drift. For me i will say live tuning is needed because even if you got al the bonus is hard to reach the goal, but with live tuning selecting drift angle to more, is just easy, did try it an get this on the thrid attemp, with more angle and speed yo drift like the guy on the video and get more points and multipliers
Hi, I've completed all the other activities with 3-star but I'm having a really hard time to complete even one drift zone with a 3-star rating, I'm new to the NFS drifting activities, so I don't know which button to press or how to maintain drift, can someone please help me.
Here is how I did it: I bought the Huracan drift car and bought the last catch-up pack and some speed cards and got it to almost 399 performance. Then I got into live tuning and put all the weight on the rear and put the drift angle to max. While doing the drift zones just get the car side ways using the brakes and not the handbrake then try to maintain the drift without crashing into anything and your multiplier will get into x3 and x4 and you will easily get the 3 stars.
@@ScorpMatoro Tell Ryosuke i didn't see the Ghost in my mirror while i was running in the 90s x). (fun fact : i used the anime OST a lot during my playthrough :P)
I don't get why people are struggling on these easy drifts. Even a blind person would complete these. I'm so sorry if you are struggling. My tip: take an rx7, build it with full chidori.
