As there's very little information online about these bargain priced yet sturdy little NGT bite alarms, I've made a quick video on them - including how to avoid a mistake I made myself.
Because my voice is less interesting than Marvin the Paranoid Android, the speech is courtesy of TextMagic.

To pair the alarms with the receiver: 1. Turn OFF all alarms and the receiver 2. Turn on the receiver - the red light lights up solid. 3. Turn on the RED alarm and flick the roller so it beeps - the receiver will pair with it and move onto the next colour 4. Repeat step 3 for all of your alarms - if you want to skip a colour, press the volume button once The receiver turns itself off when the last alarm is paired (bizarrely) so turn it back on and test it :)

What batteries do the alarm and receiver take iv just ordered them for the same reason you did

The alarms take 12V "23A/L 1028" batteries rather than traditional 9V, which is unfortunate - however, they're cheap enough for a pack of 10 from ebay. One thing I don't like about the alarms is that they still seem to use power even when switched off, unlike the Delks. So you need spare batteries with you! Can't remember what the receiver takes off-hand, I'll look when I get home

The matching bivvy light is a USB rechargeable btw rather than replaceable batteries

Did you try the process I replied to @christophergeering3543 ? I've had mine 'unpair' when I changed batteries, and I always struggle to remember how to pair them again !

The VS alarms have a small jack socket on the lower left (viewed from the front) but I must admit I've never plugged anything into them. I guess they're similar to the nitelite feature of the Delks. Can't remember if they're 2.5mm or 3.5mm, and unfortunately I can't pull them out to check tonight without waking the kids up, but I'll get a meter on them tomorrow to see if they're permanent live or whether the voltage bounces when triggered

So how do you pay them up to the receiver please

Ryan, I apologise but I've not been able to find my 3.5mm lead to test these yet, and I don't want to cut the lead off my daughter's headphones. Partway thru decorating the house, but when it's done I'll pull everything out from where it's all crammed in and see if I can find it and test it.

@@christophergeering3543 Turn everything off (all alarms and receiver). Hold down both buttons on the receiver until it turns on and the red LED illuminates. Turn on the red alarm and flip the roller, when it beeps it's paired and the receiver will move onto the next colour. Turn on whatever colour is next (can't remember sorry) and do the same, flip the roller and when it's paired the receiver moves onto the next colour. If you want to skip a colour, press the volume button on the receiver. When all 4 are paired, the receiver turns itself off - dunno why. Just turn it on and they're all paired up and ready to go.

If its just a line bite will the light turn off by its self
@twincamspit
@twincamspit 7 месяцев назад
Yes, after about 20 seconds after the liner stops, the light will turn off (both on the alarm and on the remote receiver). It stays on long enough to see which alarm triggered it though, even if you're as disorganized as me and have left the receiver in your jacket :D
