I saw Level 42 on this tour back in the day because of this song, and it’s stayed with me forever. Hearing Taylor’s interpretation of it, and his beautiful, beautiful voice all over it breaks my heart and makes me love it even more. He had so much more to give; I bet he didn’t even know it. So sad. Fly high, Taylor.

I was stationed in the UK in 1985 when Level 42 dropped this. I was immediately hooked and did a deep dive on all their music and saw them live many times over the decades. This is still one of my favorite pop songs of all-time, and this is a great cover. Thanks guys, for covering great old tunes.

I heard this about a month ago for the first time on Duff's "3 Chords & the Truth" show on XM. It absolutely floored me. I couldn't wait to tell my wife. As a drummer and singer myself, I am constantly intrigued by the Foos. They are just the epic of COOL. I had a gig this past weekend. I had woken up just like everyone else to the news that seemed unimaginable. It hung with me all day. We decided to make Everlong our last song. I chose to leave my drums silent and just sing. To me, only one drummer can truly play that song so that was my honor to him. To leave everyone missing his drums.

Great cover of a timeless song. (and one of my favorite 80's pop songs) Level 42 was definitely a band ahead of their time. My broken heart goes out to each and every one of you who are feeling broken-hearted too. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you're being dramatic for grieving the loss of an artist who you didn't know personally. We make memories through their music, so when they die, a part of us dies too. Rest in Beats, Taylor. You will be missed, and you will NEVER be forgotten.

I was a huge Level 42 fan in the 80's and this is great. My daughter is a huge Foo Fighter's fan who used to drum. She's devastated at his death, along with all the other fans. She feels for the band and his family. Such a shame drugs have to still be prevalent.
