The crows sounds so much more immersed in the game which is awesome. They don't just randomly cheer; it seems much more purposeful. Especially when one team would line up a big check and miss, the crowd would gasp and it seems much better than NHL 23. I also think the announcing sounds much more like a tag team effort rather than james cybulski constantly talking and cutting over to his partner like one tiem all period. They seem to be going back and forth and the lady is filling the air time between the whistles which hopefully won't get annoying but also seems good.

6:20 The Ai is still very obviously in need of an upgrade. This specific moment where the fastest player in the world Connor McDavid curls off on a breakaway. There’s other things too I notice like when players just stop moving their feet with the puck in the neutral zone and almost pause which is evident at 6:39.

The net dislodging and the glass breaking happens too much but aside from that looks great!

Could you please tell the presentation team that we definitely need the full presentation back for NHL 24 as an option it wouldn't be a bad option if it were available again, especially at the beginning so that you can at least see the goalie statistics again

Gotta be honest the audio sounds great. Really love the way the crowd feels. Wildly better improvement than I'd thought it would end up being.

Is there the stick customization like we saw with the makar screen grab?

The graphics looks so much better than i thought. They didnt even mention a huge graphical change and all the animations and textures look so much cleaner.

Can you ask them if there is an option to remove the on ice pressure display? We should be able to tell a team is tired by pinning them in their own zone for a period of time, all of that stuff on the ice looks goofy to me.

I’m assuming the extra passing options are only with the new control set or will that also be with the other like skill stick ect

Did they fix the issue where phantom controllers would be connected on Xbox? Like when the game thinks you're player 3 and there's no controller vibration.

is this the default game speed it seems slower out the box if so which is a good thing!

Way too much special effects and animation after the goal its unrealistic

I was hoping to see them let us do more post whistle shoving & roughing. It always help set the tone & they even had the old announcer's get into it.. They should have added the refs blowing their whistles a couple times in a row for post play.

i hope they work on the crowd for home team goals, just the timing of when everyone jumps is key, and the post noise shouldn’t just be a ping, it should also make a deeper noise, like a “clunk” then a roar of fans. also a C-cut option for skating would be nice, like instead of coasting or full on skating, you can hold a button and your skater will make a more puck control skating animation with no lifting of the blades off the ice

I love the crowd intensity. But I dislike the initial goal celebration, and the contact collision is still off, I seen a stick go right threw the boards.

That pass by buttons add is freakin awesome, i dont think its worth 80$ tho. Im sure as hell i'm gonna wait it out until it comes on the gamepass

I wish they would have gone with an all new commentary but James Cyulski’s commentary seems to be somewhat improved than it was in NHL 20. The color commentary is great and I really like the crowd noise upgrades!

Even this game should have the Ford, Honda, Best Buy, Castrol, Burger King or GMC logos on the boards.

Ah man, I’m definitely not a hater but I do not like those celly animations. Makes the game look sloppy/cheesy. Nothing better then gaining speed then doing a nice sweep of the ice when you score a big goal

this is such a small detail, buy do the leafs uniforms in these games get darker and darker? from the high camera angle they look almost black. I just dont get why they constantly get darker when theyre so bright irl

I'll give credit where credit is due...I think graphically the game does look better & seems a lot smoother but even though the crowd is louder they seem lifeless at the same time. Like the game needs more in game cut scenes. Show the staff running to clean & replace the ice....she the crowd reactions to the glass breaking or pucks going into the crowd like previous titles show the players interacting with each other maybe putting together a strategy or something like that like the replays are good but after the replay of a hit or goal show both players the one that got hit & the one that hit the player maybe have him looking up at the score board.....as far as commentary ray ferro should of stayed & they should of got rid of the guy talking he's terrible...….EDIT: Also Id like to add the this A.I in this game is probably the worst we've seen in years like the plays and the thing's there doing out there as I've watched more and more of this video make absolutely no sense at all

Just got a great idea. What if you could do goalie mode. However once in the neutral zone you got control of the player and then when your team lost possession around the neutral zone in went back to goalie mode
