For Fowler, his organizational interest was really high. I've had quite a lot of luck trying the negotiations with players with high organizational interest. I got traded for Lafrenier in my franchise with Ottawa recently and he wanted 11 million. I ended up talking him down to 7.8 million with a modified no trade and promises to be on the second line. Its definitely worth trying out, especially if you're going to let a guy go otherwise. Just play around with the negotiations. Dont charm, it never works, just go straight to organization and if the chance of persuading them on anything is risky, don't bother. Just play around with the negotiations and see if you can save money on high org. interest guys!

You should give Henrique the A instead of Carlsson. He's a team vet and makes more sense to wear a letter since Carlsson is still so young. Once Henrique is gone then you can give Carlsson the A.
