He is more than a goalkeeper, as he lifted the goalkeepers way of playing on a very new level. He more like a defense player too and has a pretty good technique with the ball. Watch the Algeria vs Germany game at the World Cup 2014. This made him a living goalie legend!
His German and plays for Bayeren Munich one of the best goalkeepers ever the first ever sweeper keeper and has pretty much won everything there is to win in football with club and country

As someone who has played goalie in both soccer and hockey, I'd say soccer goalie is by far the more difficult one to play. Both positions require great reflexes and good technique, but positioning is a lot more important in soccer than it is in hockey, because of the size of the goal. In hockey, if you get caught a bit out of position, you usually still have a chance to make the save, in soccer you are pretty much screwed if you're out of position. Another aspect that makes playing goalie in soccer a lot harder in my opinion is that if you are on a good team, you usually don't face many shots, but you have to stay focussed the entire 90 minutes and be ready when you are needed. In hockey it's a lot easier to stay focussed because even on the much better team, you will get enough to do to stay focussed throughout the game. Hockey is still the better sport though.
Listen, goalkeepers are like Drago vs. Rocky. Tall and fast. And they are cats. Their lineage has a mutation from the great cats. All forwards, midfielders etc. We still wonder
Hi. :) Can I suggest one symphonic metal band? If you like classical rock like Deep Purple, probably you know song "Child in Time"? I really want to recommend symphonic metal band Liv Moon and their cover version of "Child in Time", amazing cover. They have female operatic singer, not in all songs she singing operatic, but in this song her operatic vocal is so impressive. Can you react it? You like symphonic metal with operatic vocal, for example like Nightwish, right? ;)
5:10 Dude, I love hockey... But have you looked at the size of the goal? There is a reason why you corner an attacker or you don't. Besides, all hockey tricks are from football, even the one's with clubs, we just use our chest ;) NBA, start watching football for tricks with feet. NOW NFL they are like Rugby folk, they can't dribble, where did they get the body shift fake from? dekes, dribbles, fient, what ever. Know the roots.
