Yeah, reffing was ass in this game anyway. They missed the high stick on Barrie in the 2nd, so they had to make up for it by looking for anything to call on Vancouver. @@jamesharris4041 I truly believe Butthead is directly related to the cupless drought Canadian teams have been suffering from. I mean, how much more coincidence can this be? The first year he was announced commissioner was also the last year Canada has owned a cup. Hopefully this is the game that causes the league to rework the challenge rule. Give each team ONE challenge to use a game. There shouldn't be any punishment for issuing a valid challenge, and it's less likely to be abused if they only have the single challenge to burn. That puck had lost all forward momentum until Silovs was shoved into it.
@joelface

I also think they should automatically review any goal where the goaltender was contacted by an opposing player in any fashion. Doesn’t have to be a long review, but it should be checked every time. For free.

“In the NHL, you are not allowed to use your stick to push the goalie, regardless of the situation. Goaltenders are protected by specific rules that prohibit opposing players from making contact with them intentionally, especially using a stick. This is considered interference or goaltender interference, and it typically results in a penalty.
