Class? are you both blind lol.... Krug tried his very best to not let it in... his slow ass couldn't reach it in time... The only thing you can thank him for is not diving to save it but no need to risk injury on a regular season game. lol throw and class hahaha dfkm
what do you mean by long time? I have seen so many people making that comment about the Leafs at different points this season. people seem to have short memories. they have played probably half a dozen excellent games this year, many of them better than this one.
Blues were a class act tonight especially after the Leafs game against the Senators, a team with no class at all.. I noticed Krug (I believe) toss the puck toward the Leafs players after McMann got his hat trick. I appreciate when players show that kind of courtesy in a tough game from their point of view. Well done indeed!!
We don't talk about it much or EVER, as a matter of fact but give full credit to Sheldon Keefe for the Leaf win tonight. They held a team with a great road record to like 15 shots and they played solid fundamental hockey. This was not a Top 4 or 5 driven victory. Heck with a little luck it could have been a 6 - 1 win.
they play like this pretty much every time one of the top 5 are out of the line up. it is uncanny. I think it shows that Keefe overplays his top guys when everyone is healthy and in the line up. he needs to spread out the ice time and give these supporting players a chance to shine.
The Leafs making up for the lack of 3 key members with good old fashioned hard work. Solid game for everyone. Great to see depth scoring, and Sammy with his groove back.
That was a great game from the Leafs. The Buds finally won on my birthday for the first time since 2016. McMann got a hatty, and it was awesome. Thank you Leafs for making my birthday special. Let's go Leafs!
I also really appreciated Max Domi's game tonight. He had the speed going and was digging hard all night long. Bertuzzi continues to be snake bit and, on at least two occasions, passed when he should have shot the puck; however, being snake-bit can do that to a guys confidence. Once goals start going in again, look out. Hopefully that will coincide with the stretch run and into the playoffs. As much as I'd like the Leafs to win The President's Gup (the real championship, in my opinion), I'll settle for a Stanley Cup if that's all that's available. The Leafs can slum it this year. LOL
The play was frantic I doubt Krug knew the number and name of the jersey who took the bank shot much less that they had 2 goals that night. He threw it out of the net from frustration of not being able to save it in time. I could be wrong though.
@@ChannelyChannel Nylander and Matthews doesn't work as good as Marner and Matthews is the issue. Nylander should be able to drive his own line don't need 2 drivers on first line.
Bobby McMann and the Toronto Maple Leafs win over Brayden Schenn and the St. Louis Blues 4-1 🏒🔵⚪🇨🇦🍁 Toronto Maple Leafs went up to 27-16-8, while the St. Louis Blues dropped to 28-22-2
2024 and Sportsnet still only able to provide 720p quality uploads. Would think with the money Rogers Media is raking in in gouging its customers it could provide some 4K content.
It's not just Sportsnet: The highlights on the official league RU-vid channel are also in 720p. Pretty sure I could find high school basketball games in 1080 if I looked. It's a joke.
every channel that uploads highlights only does it in 720p so that they upload and process faster after the game. who cares? do you really need to see the details of Matthews moustache that badly? maybe you need glasses. always one of the stupidest comments in the comment section.
To this day, I don't know how William Nylander has managed to play 8 full seasons with the Leafs and not have a single hatrick at home. Not to mention, only one career hatrick, which came on the road in Boston back in 2017. Nylander's former linemate David Pastrnak has something like 15-20 hatricks and makes the same amount of money. Meanwhile, McMann has already cashed in on his first hatrick on home ice while barely playing one full season with the Leafs.
Could it be possible that the Sheldon Keefe system is best suited for an evenly spread level of talent from the goalie to the D-to the wingers and the centres?? If somehow they could get rid of the Tavares contract and bring in a world class defender and split the Marner contract to two wingers, a left and a right....I don't know but Keefe's system looks better when there is solid talent spread throughout.
that is basically my point. he usually overplays his star players so then if they need to come back at the end of the game they are exhausted and have nothing to give. need to play all 4 lines more evenly and give guys like McMann a chance to shine with more ice time.
@@RedroomStudios He does at times but the 4th line has contributed very little so as a coach, you tend to use them less. In the third period, I would hardly use them if the score dictates that goals are needed That is basically what Keefe does.Last night was not really normal. The 4th line has not been good enough on most nights. Injuries can be blamed to a certain degree. But Gregor, Kamph and McMann ( or Reaves) have not done a lot to instill confidence.
Man those blues annocers on sportsnets highlights is weird. Not too mention their homers. This to em try and blame that goal on binnington insteD of giving bobby mcmann the credit for that snipe. And it was a beautt of a top cheddar snipe
go back to school and learn how to write proper English. it's "they're" homers. and every broadcast team are homers. get over it. Binnington DID overplay the shot to the post side... and I dont blame him because way too many goals have been going in this year by goalies not being tight enough against the post. I dont think they took anything away from McMann. get over it and stop searching for stuff to be butt hurt about.
@@RedroomStudios it's called an opinion and I'm clearly not the butt hurt one. You opined dam near a short story about my comment. But sure I'm butt hurt. Lol and the point I was making is why was sports net a Canadian channel that aired the game is showing RU-vid highlights on thier channel of another tvs broadcast. That just weird. And they gave zero props to bobby mcmann on his shot and blamed the goalie. Watch it again and see where that puck ends up and tell that isnt a snipe of a goal. And if ya dont think it was then your just butthurt the blues lost.
@@brentsenior7830 Sportsnet didnt air the game you dope. TSN did. TSN is a competitor of SN and TSN owns the exclusive rights of the games they broadcast in Canada. thats why SN always uses the US feed for their highlights in those cases. yes, I watched the video. I heard what he said - just like every analyst on every broadcast does - they try to find a mistake that led to a goal being scored. it's annoying but every channel does it. and how do you know they didnt give props to McMann for his awesome shot? you only hear a few seconds of video in the replay. you dont hear what was said before or after. and I'm a Leafs fan, so no I am not hurt that the Blues lost.
Who is the idiot with the “he could make a dive for it” comment? So you end up a quadriplegic but at least you only lose a regular season game 3 instead of 4-1. Stanley Cup finals, yeah, I’m diving for it.
He didn't finish...sounded like he was anticipating what new hockey viewers might ask ie. "Why didn't he dive for it?" and he was saying "He could make a dive for it, BUT..." and then the clip cut out. Sounded like he was probably going to say he could make a dive for it, but give it's already 3-1 and it's a regular season game probably decided against it
thats probably what he said at the point where they cut off his comment. he wasnt saying that Krug should have made a dive for it at all. he was about to say not worth it for the potential injury.
@@MisterMister5893 I think it's you who doesnt have a clue. it is absolutely possible to be paralyzed if you go into the net head first at full speed and just hit things the wrong way.
when and where? a lot of times the seats will be empty at the start of the game and the start of periods because people are stuck in lines to get food when the play starts again. trust me, there were no empty seats there.
Is everyone just going to pretend that Brodey didn't use his stick to chop Kyru's feet out from under him to set up the Nylander goal? that was just blatent
Looks like Kyru tried to hop out of the way of Brodie's foot. The stick made contact above the other knee. I don't think it was all that material...Kyru could have skated through that. We have certainly seen a lot more contact than that allowed.
@@thetornadeau7624 With the price of the tickets all you get as a crowd is the corporate Armani suits making business deals and sipping on martinis, these guys don't care about hockey, real fans are stuck in the 300 sections and still pay $200-$300 per tickets. That's why you go to game against Buffalo in Buffalo (and hour away from Toronto)it is literally all Leafs fans
he's played better and put up better stats in the past though, including 5 goals and 5 assists for Boston in round 1 of the playoffs last year. he has more of a mental block now than anything right now.
It was but don’t spoil it from leaf fandom. They think IF HE FETS THE idea time he’ll keep lighting it up and win the league scoring championship. 30+ games left, just nEEds to score 30 hat tricks and he’ll get over 90 goals. Makes Auston’s projected 70 goals look like mickeY mouse.
Its a bit of mystery to me, what is missing from Leafs to win the Stanley Cup. They have many great players, good power play (but not effective enough so far), mediocre goalie, ok defense, . Is the coach good enough? Or the game plan? The risk is also this year, that they melt down in play offs, sooner or later, again.
To bad the Blues are a complete garbage. No defense no shots just a god awful team to watch. Please trade our good players so they have a chance at a stanley. Armstong cant put a team together and the more I see the more I realize 19 was complete luck.
with the amount of looks he gets, it's only a matter of time before they start going in. he also made some good plays this game and put in a hell of an effort. points aside, it was a good game for bert 2n
Leafs is the worst team and Toronto is the worst city. Jeez just remove this team from the NHL, or the league just decide to keep the team on as a joke.
Good Win For The Leafs After They Lost To Senators On Saturday!!!! Congrats Bobby Scoring A Hat Trick!!!! Happy Early Valentine Day!!!! Good Game Blue Fans!!!!🍁🏒🎶✌️
