So proud of my Habs get a point on road against the Stanley Cup champions they play like that against that team with many young player and it’s not over the future was not their they miss Mailloux , Hutson , Bech , Roy and more Habs have a very bright future I am so positive for the next season Go Habs 🔵⚪🔴 congrats to the Golden Knights a good team search à solution to win every time

Good game Habs. Ugly 2nd period by the VGK with only 2 shots on net but at least one of them went in 😁 That Hill blooper totally brought back that Fleury nightmare vibe from game 3 of the series with the Habs a few years ago 😆 That OT was really fun to watch. Wish it was 10 minutes instead of 5

Habs out shot VGK, won a majority of the board battles, their forecheck was strong.. they definitely gave the champs a run for their money. That being said, VGK is excellent at closing out games but at the same time give their opponent too many opportunities to tie the game at the end of the third. VGK fan here.. and I must say Habs haven’t looked this good in awhile. Both goalies kept their teams in this game for OT.

Habs completely outplayed Vegas despite the loss, just couldn’t beat the iron. Birthday boy had some clutch saves also. Huge stride in the right direction boys ghg

@@csharp48 hey if it works it works, there's definitely a lot of great stick handling in the NHL, but I haven't seen a consistent backhand fake forehand shot like that since Pavel Datsyuk (oh how I sure miss the magic man {Datsyuk} ). 🤘💚🤘🏒🖖💯

Arizona, Ducks and Montreal showing that you don't need superstars to compete in the NHL (look at Oilers and Penguins) - top teams like Boston, Vegas and Avalanche have to work very hard to earn their points this year.

I don't think the Knights have even broken a sweat this season. They are just casually racking up points. This one really wasn't a great game by them, but yet another win. Mostly by Hill.

@@Bonaboms I actually agree. Hill was their most important single player. It takes a bit of time, since he wasn't that good before last spring. If he keeps going like this, he will end up in the Vezina finalists.

Why did they end the game with the score 2-1 in Vegas' favor? Vegas could not have scored, Montreal could have leveled the score and everything would have continued?

I edited my other comment, because I was still watching before i made that comment. It has to do with Scrip Sports (Vegas' feed) format. It is actually a best of 3, so it should only really show two rows of 3 boxes, but Scrip sports shows two rows of 5 for some reason. After both Monahan and Eichel missed (in other words tied after the 3rd frame), it becomes single elimination. Both teams still shoot. If only one team scores, it's the game winner. Theodore has the backhander, Anderson hits the crossbar.

Darn that's unfortunate if it hadn't been the loss to Chicago VGK would've had an awesome 10 straight. 😮 The Coyotes destroyed the Blackhawks 8-1 geeeez. By some miracle the yotes are doing well so far and their usually in last place with the sharks and ducks. But it is no surprise as to where the Blackhawks sit in the standings

There are way too many games that go into overtime and as a result, too many 3-point games! Just award 2 points to the team that played the better game if a tie is the result after 60 minutes or the team with the most shots on net wins the game.

@@MathieuFerronMusic I have ALWAYS believed an Organization should INVEST in their young talent. No one EVER were hurt by it but there have been many who lost confidence and never recovered when thrown to the fire. I don't see anything the kid contributes and he stumbles with the puck. It's a clear sign he is very unsure. The Habs jade a huge mistake with Slafv last year. First, they quietly set unreal expectations and the media pounced and went overboard. Then they kept with the big club all year. They are repeating the mistake again. Loosing confidence can be quick, but gaining it back takes time. Sometimes it never returns.
