Stuart Skinner and the Edmonton Oilers held off the Seattle Kraken late in the third to get the two points in regulation. Brett Kulak scored his third of the season which was the game winner as Edmonton beat Seattle by a score of 2-1.

Seriously, any other announcer, would be like, "and skinner hangs on for a win". This guy is like, "Steewarrt Skineer needed ooOne more terrific SToP, and heee maaade iiiit!!" NHL's best announcer period.

No, Skinner came out too far of his crease and it slipped behind him from the center. He should have been further back in his net with his stick down..that would have prevented the goal. Outstanding night for him tho.

What a performance, glad we finally got a win that was not come from behind! We have also gained 22 points on Vegas since 20 December and so long as they lose to the Sabres we retain the second in the pacific spot

Congrats to the Oilers on the 4/4 sweep of the Kraken. That coaching change from earlier in the season gave Edmonton a huge boost. On to Calgary on Monday.

Skinner won this one for us, no doubt. Fantastic goaltending from him! When he's on top of his game, he can really steal you one and that's what he did here. Hopefully the Oilers make it four against the Penguins tonight now!!

Damn the kraken and Skinner really came to play this game. Skinner really would've deserved that shut out. Must be his best game this season. He had a few of these games last season aswell. Very high skill ceiling, hope he can learn to reach it more often

Listen, I know this will be unpopular...but THIS is the Edmonton team that can win a cup. Absolutely EVERYONE working hard to earn this win, being defensively aware and responsible. Making the other team have to be perfect for absolutely..everything. No arguments Leon and Conner are amazing talents, but THIS is the kind of team play that wins cups. Right down to Skinners seething glare on the Seattle goal. He was PISSED OFF. That's what is needed. Alright, bring on the hate comments. ❤

how much are the owners and league getting from these teams? The player's salary is pretty low. Love the organ music (in St. Louis as well) could do without the ship fog horn or whatever that thing is that rings out after a home goal. Edmonton just look like they're hesitating or waiting for something to happen or they're bored but get extremely lucky. Will that get them the cup? Love those mad scrambles at the end of a game rifling the puck from either side

It's possible if Skinner keeps up the way he is playing to make up for the lack of Defence i don't see why not and with 4 games in hand and the Canucks don't break out of there Slump now the Noise around the Petterson contract has been Silenced.
