Many people criticize hockey because off all the fights that occur, not understanding that most of them are nothing personal one player holds against the other. They fight to settle their minor differences as they arise on the ice, and are then respectful towards each other after that. This is part of the Canadian culture that the players were raised with - where you settle your differences on the spot. The problem here in the United States is that young kids today are taught to "turn the other cheek" when insulted or shown up to prevent any physical fighting, with the guardians of our culture not realizing that by doing so just creates built up tension and anger that slowly builds and grows within individuals to the point where one day they explode in rage, which explains all of the mass shootings that occur in schools and other public institutions across this country.
Oh man this is just like when i played high school hockey. only 8 teams in the league, most of the guys all knew eachother. there were no hard feelings off the ice for the most part, but just good chirps on the ice all the time.
I don't know why, but for some reason "You better calm the fuck down out here Vernon." quickly followed by "I was just telling Vernon he used to be my favorite player." is hilarious.
That wasn't much in the way of clever chirps. Just a cheap shot by Lemieux answered with a cheap shot from some little detroit loser and two cities blowing it out of proportion. Vernon showing Roy the ice isn't relevant to this video.
Hahaa, I wish I knew the derivation of the chirp. Tbh, which I just recently learned stands for, to be honest, I might throw a lil just for men in my salad if it gets egregious.
@@LouSasshole I know lol, the joke was that I was saying ironic how its the flyers asking that becuase Philadelphia sports fans are notorious for spitting on people
So Ryan Reaves bodychecks and taunts the NYR to a 2-0 series lead. Follow that with decreased ice time the next 2 games, and they lose. Proceed to scratch him from the lineup for the last 2 games and lose those as well. Anybody else noticing anything?
I wanted my humorous intent taken the wrong way comment deleted and just did that. Well, hockey players are pretty damned funny, but to be serious they are really cool guys with the gift of the gab and a great fun loving attitude. There's more than meets the eye to my beloved sport our beloved sport. This is a great upload, but furthermore it gives an inside look at how intense playing hockey or being into is and you know the beauty of hockey? The players love doing this and are always willing to give their all.
