Leigh, I really appreciate you doing this because the only way I can keep up is watching the live timing on the website. I can't afford NHRA TV lol. I'm super pumped up that clay ended up #4 in qualifying last I checked. The thing about Tasca to me is when he ran 340mph in Bradenton it raised a lot of eyebrows even though it wasn't an NHRA sanctioned event. You know other teams were thinking he had to be cheating and most likely put a bug in the ears of NHRA. I don't know what's going on other than what Tasca said about it on the interview but I was surprised to see him win the challenge because I thought they were DQ'ing him for this race. It's a little confusing to say the least. But I know how NHRA is too because of the way they screwed Clay last season in Dallas. I know y'all can't speak a lot on that, but I can haha. Anyway, I appreciate you keeping us informed and for the actual videos of the runs I would otherwise not see.

The head of NHRA technical department needs to make a public statement about NHRA’s decision and give a detailed explanation of why the “color change” to magnesium caused these parts to suddenly fail tech if these parts were examined and given back Tasca and not told that they were considered illegal. Seriously if a component on a engine changing color is cause enough to get gigged by the NHRA technical department then every car in the “Fuel” categories should also be DQ’ed because of a repair/refurbishment, flow testing, cleaning, etc, to blower/supercharger, cylinder head or block, crankshaft, etc, etc, etc, somehow changes that part. I have zero problem with any sanctioning body fail a car because of rules violation but if a car passes tech and it because a part that has been already inspected and deemed to be legal and then is suddenly illegal than the fans and competitors need a deserve an immediate explanation by that sanctioning body. Seriously it is not that hard and everyone benefits when a sanctioning body is forthcoming and transparent about its decisions and why. To not give the competitors and fans an explanation makes the sport look bad and most importantly makes the technical department look like they are being vindictive and or totally inept.

Nascar racing won’t help another team. NHRA being ridiculous. YET Drag racer’s stick together. Team Capco loaning parts to help other teams. 😊 Soon NHRA will disallow teams helping other teams. 😢

JMO as a long time drag racing fan..NHRA is getting as bad as NASCAR with thier nitpicky rules.. let the drivers race and owners do their cars up.. this whole "every car has to be the same" is whats killing competition in racing...its even seeping into dirt racing with new rules this year

How about doing a report on the Drs findings when she monitors Clays vitals and have her explain what's going on. Enjoying your videos!
