Hey there, did you watch the whole video? Dentists have their hands tied unfortunately with the way the NHS can actually lead to them paying out of their own pockets to treat patients
@@melgrant7404 Of course, they have families to feed too and after dedicating years to becoming Dentists, they have a right to choose how they operate, instead of working in a broken system. Believe me, Dentists want the change as much as everyone else, but the government are just not bothered, it's an awful state of affairs and Dentists get labelled as the devils for it
@the_stu_DENT I would agree the government has let dentistry deteriorate. But I do think once it is mended that nhs work should be a requirement of dentists even for just a period of time. To help people in desperate need especially. Nhs dentistry has to change or it won't exist. All patients will end up doing is lining private dentists pockets for ever with the extortionate charges which is wrong.lets not forget that patients families have to be fed too.they don't have the choice to take the better paid job to do that like a private dentist would do.
