@@mukhtarali8778 It was just a basic test and mostly understanding instructions relating to your job description like reading appointment letters and calculating fluid charts. you are even allowed to use the calculator. My test was paper-based.

They asked questions like what steps would I take to maintain infection control, how would I deal with a member of staff that wanted to argue with me, where would I see myself in 5 years time, scenario questions about patient confidentiality, how would I deal with a patient that suddenly felt unwell after their scan.

Exiting 😊, I would just make sure you are friendly, ask the questions you want to know about the job (shows your serious) and be yourself !

I think you have to be past your probation before you can join bank, I think it is better to learn in one place and I have not heard anyone doing this 😊

I really enjoyed working in Stroke units 😊 I think this will probably cover it but maybe think about how we would care for someone who has a had a Stroke.

I imagine it should cover it, you could look up what goes on in a respiratory ward (maybe the importance of oxygen therapy) 😊

At the actual interview there is a simple maths and english test 😊

If you would like to do it, keep applying 😊 it can take a few until you get a spot so don’t let it put you off ! we always need more staff that what to work in the NHS !😂

I imagine they want to see you in person because they have only seen you on Zoom, this will be very chilled so I wouldn’t stress too much as they want you if they are asking you this 😊

I did my interview with them and I passed.i have been waiting for them to send me an email on when to start but I have not received any.i have called and send email, but no response from them..

@@angelfavouronwenionweni600 They sent all the form to directly and after l completed all the forms, they request for references and DBS and it took almost 3 weeks then they informed me the date of start, it took long almost a month and half to start. If they have not email you yet you need contact them otherwise they might take long. Good luck!!!!

I’ll be honest with you mate, one of the reasons I made this video is because I didn’t find any super useful websites😊 I think maybe jotting a few points down from these kinds of videos is probably the best prep 👌🏼

Did you get the job? And how did you answer the question about how to communicate with a patient that cannot speak?

I have an interview on Friday. I’m just having a think about this, If I had this question I would possibly say something along the lines of finding other ways the patient could possibly communicate with you and find out their circumstance of why it is they can’t speak. Is it their age, are they very young, do they speak another language? Maybe see if they have a communication passport, if they have an AAC device or refer back to good old pen and paper. People who may struggle to communicate may feel more isolated and it’s important that you build rapport and help the patient feel safe while they’re in your care. Hope this helps! xx

@@anumnisar648 Hi yes I’ve done my interview now and they mostly were giving scenarios and asking me what I would do in those situations. They asked me 6 questions as far as I can remember. They asked me about confidentiality, safeguarding, what do I know about the role, about infection control, they also gave me one of the NHS values and asked me to give an example of how I used that value.

I got the job however they’re saying I need to provide 3 years of references with a month by month account which I don’t know how I’m going to do

@@Daniel-wz4th how long after the interview did they hire you? Most people say nhs hiring process takes up to months. By your comment and reply it seemed it was quite quick. I’m so nervous for mine, it’s in two days

@@Kdramaheat they told me to wait outside the interview room for a few minutes and then invited me back in and said you’ve got the job. But the process is so long I have had to send off for an enhanced DBS check and provide 3 years of references and character references and model declaration form and provide right to work in the UK and proof of identity and proof of all immunisations and vaccines and employment risk assessment etc. It’s very long and I’m still waiting to hear back from them...
