Before you choose an online course, make sure that it is Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) accredited. Please do your due diligence as some online Diploma in Helath and Social Care certifications might not be recognised by the NHS. I am rooting for you! Cynthia Cynthia Academy

I have a question. Some companies will say prior experience is not essential as trainings will be done. So my question is, how do we navigate this, when you need to follow key role and job description?

You can increase your chances of getting a job with visa sponsorship if you have experience. Two years ago, it was easy to get jobs without experience but today’s market is so highly competitive that it affects people without experience. All the best!

@@fatobamartina3903 Thank you for the compliment. This is a tricky question. I always suggest that you talk about sponsorship as soon as they inform you that you have passed your interview. It helps them make plans for visa sponsorship. The main area for concern is whether your new job role can be sponsored on the Skilled Worker visa. I created a video to assess whether a job can be sponsored or not. Follow the instructions and assess your occupation. Skilled worker visa: Can you do these jobs for additional 20 hours a week? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CYMd5IiMpa8.html If you find out that it is not sponsored, don’t allow it stop you from asking your manager. Question: on Tracjobs under the section EMPLOYMENT with sub section “Brief description of your duties and responsibilities “ >> Do you fill this section in a sentence/statement form or use bullet points to fill it?

@@godreignsdairies1732 I use bullet points for my clients so that there are clear descriptions and separation of each responsibility. Make sure you cover some of the essential personal specifications. All the best!

@@AmadiChristus Look at most of the NHS job advertisements, some require a care certificate and/or an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Now advise yourself if the curriculum covered in these courses are covered by your degree in Nursing Science. A degree is obviously higher than these listed but it depends on what was taught in the degree and whether it covers the policies, procedures and mandatory 15 standard of Care as required by Healthcare England. Only you have the answer to this question. If it covers it then make a convincing evidence and argument in your supporting information. All the best!

If you watched this from the beginning till the end. You will know that they sponsor Band 3 Step II and not Band 3 Step I. If you don’t have enough experience, they may not put you in Step II. Try NHS Trust in London, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

I'm a certifiled healthcare practitioner with National Diploma in orthopeadic with over 3 years clinical experience. I did courses on Alison and Florence Academy. Must I have 15 standard care courses?

No and yes. If you fill in the NHS job application on Trac online you will see that they ask whether you have a care certificate. Some jobs adverts don’t ask about the 15 standards of care some others do. This is my opinion, do what pleases you to get what you want. All the best!
