NHSGGC - Your anaesthetic for orthopaedic surgery - what are the choices? 

This video is for patients who are to be admitted to hospital for planned orthopaedic surgery. There is an emphasis now on patients being admitted to hospital on the morning of their surgery, which leaves very little time to discuss their anaesthetic techniques and the risks involved. The video can be watched in advance of surgery so that when they arrive in hospital and meet their anaesthetist, they are able to make an informed decision about the anaesthetic technique that suits them.
