LOL Just to prove that Prince wasn't colorstruck, he was in concert and he looked into the crowd, and notice a chocolate black girl with braids , and kept calling for her to go up and dance on stage. Called out her color top , when she got up on stage, he was dancing with her, and checking out her butt. Finally, a bid dude either her father or man came over, and Prince said a few words to the man, and danced off. And at the Alma Awards years ago, he performed with Sheila E, he walked into the audience and went directly to a black girl, gave her attention, didn't pay any other female in the audience attention. And let's not forget Cat his former dancer time with him. She asked him point blank, why her? She told him, Apolonia was latina, Sheila E was mixed, and some other girl was mixed, and she said, I'm black. He looked at her was like yeah, and. And they spent time together, hanging out, but she said during the piece that although there was an attraction, nothing happened. She's the girl from, "If I Was Your Girlfriend", and they had chemistry. She left his company, when Prince didn't want her to, and when she was in the hospital, he out of the blue , he called her to check on her, and told her people informed him she was sick. We only have the public persona to go by, Prince was so private even those closest to him, didn't know him completely. Prince obviously saw the beauty in all women. And that's why he will go down as one of the greatest songwriters ever, because he was able to see beauty in a variety of things.

I said "most people try to act like Prince wasn't attracted to black women", now that's a judgement or a critique of the public not Prince. So, I don't get the anger in your statement. I never said Prince wasn't attracted to black women, but the public perception was that he wasn't. I never condemned Prince for his romantic taste, that was other people. I posts my knowledge of the black women that he wa openly attracted to or dated.

I can relate. I'm a dude, but one time when I was a junior in high school an older girl who was very popular and attractive asked me to take her to the prom. I immediately rejected her because I thought I was being pranked, and even if she was serious, being upgraded so many levels that fast would've been more intensity than I could handle. I wouldn't have enjoyed it. Of course now I look back and tell myself I should've "smashed", but hindsight is always 20/20.

+CP Smith Yes, she was married. Funny thing is Prince wanted Vanity to star in Purple Rain, it was actually created for her, but she left to do her other projects. And he initially wrote and wanted Cat to be the star of Under The Cherry Moon, but the script was re-written and Troy got the part.

It worked and people everywhere were trying to find out any and everything.

Anyway you usually don't see Nia in very dramatic situations with bad press and scandals. She's a very classy woman. That just doesn't seem like it's in her character.
