She has the same balance of confidence and poise as her mother and I love it. It's great to see a young girl respectfully and calmly standing up for herself; not being rude, but not being a doormat. and there are more moments like this from Nia throughout the later seasons. I think she's a great role model on this show to the younger viewers

My literal reaction to Nia talking back was "YES NIA!". I feel like Abby is low key threatened of Nia, since she knows Nia isn't scared of intimated of her like the other girls. If this were Kendall, Mackenzie or Maddie they would of cried. Nia is right though because she did get better at conveying emotion in dances, when she got more opportunities.

All she was doing was standing up for herself. She had been in the team the longest besides Maddie and mackenzie and was given nothing and Abby’s least favorite. She improved a lot from season 1 and worked really hard

sitting here watching dance mom video I can't figure out why doesn't Holly just take Nia and leave clearly Abby doesn't want her there she gets picked on all the time doesn't get recognized but always getting criticized I think she will do much better if she moved to a new Studio where she will be appreciated

Jocelyn Paul They both believe that she is growing as a dancer. Also in the past Holly said abby's master plan from the beginning was to get rid of Holly, Kelly, and Christi. And she won't let it happen.

as much as i want to praise nia for saying that, i can't get over the fact that it felt so evil the way she said it. good job for saying something but not for saying it like that, if she doesn't like the way abby says things then she shouldn't do it the same. she just felt so dark saying that and i couldn't stand feeling nia's dark side. its absolutely horrible to see someone so sweet finally make a nasty remark. it just feels so cold. burrr

She probably feels some remorse for what she said, but with all that pent up aggression and frustration that Abby causes, she snapped and she let it all out at once. It was intense.

Well think about it... Nia has been treated so bad over the years and she never gets an opportunity to shine and when she does Abby takes it away from her. so she probably just wanted to show Abby who she was and that she's tired of being compared to Maddie.

frozen in life and time Nia wasn't being mean Abby had no reason to say that because the group dance got first Nia did a great job. But yet the Next episode when Maddie was the lead and the group dance came in second the following episode pyramid time Abby didn't get on Maddie and then Maddie was on top of the pyramid. Abby just mad because she couldn't have control over Nia's career and she still couldn't get over it.
